Safety Guidelines and Grounding Instructions

Important Safety Information

Always read all instructions before using this product.

WARNING: Do not place hands or fingers near the massage mechanism or rollers while the product is operating to prevent injury.

DANGER: To reduce the risk of electrical shock:

• Always unplug the product from the electrical outlet immediately after use and before cleaning.
• Do not reach for the product if it has fallen into water; unplug immediately.

WARNING: To reduce the risk of burns, fire, electric shock, or injury to persons:

• Never leave the product unattended when plugged in.
• Unplug from outlet when not in use and before adding or removing parts.
• Do not operate under a blanket or pillow to prevent excessive heating, fire, or electric shock.
• Close supervision is necessary when used by or near children, invalids, or disabled persons.
• Use this product only for its intended use as described in this manual.
• Do not operate if the cord or plug is damaged, if it is not working properly, has been dropped, damaged, or dropped into water. Return to a service center for examination and repair.
• Keep the power cord away from heated surfaces.
• Never operate with blocked air openings; keep them free of lint, hair, etc.
• Never drop or insert any object into openings.
• Do not use outdoors.
• Do not operate where aerosol (spray) products are being used or where oxygen is being administered.
• To disconnect, turn all controls to the OFF position, then remove the plug from the outlet.
• Do not massage the abdomen if pain is present or if you are pregnant.
• Do not massage any swollen, inflamed, or skin-erupted areas. Avoid unexplained calf pain.
• Do not use when standing on a damp floor or when any body part is in contact with plumbing or similar ground.
• Always connect to a properly grounded electrical outlet (standard 120 Volt 60 Hz house current).
• Do not use if abnormal noise is heard.
• This product is designed for personal in-home use; commercial use voids warranty.

Grounding Instructions

This product must be grounded. Grounding provides a path of least resistance for electrical current, reducing the risk of electric shock. The product is equipped with an equipment-grounding conductor and a grounding plug. The plug must be plugged into an appropriate, properly installed, and grounded outlet in accordance with all local codes and ordinances.

WARNING: Improper connection of the equipment-grounding conductor can result in electric shock. Consult a qualified electrician or serviceman if unsure about proper grounding. Do not modify the plug provided; if it does not fit the outlet, have a proper outlet installed by a qualified electrician.

The product is for use on a normal 120-volt circuit and has a grounding plug (similar to a standard 3-prong plug). A temporary adapter (2-prong adapter with a grounding tab) may be used if a properly grounded outlet is not available. The adapter's green colored, rigid ear tab must be connected to a permanent ground, such as a properly grounded outlet box cover, using a metal screw.

WARNING: This product is equipped with a thermal resetting protection device to prevent overheating. If the product suddenly stops and will not start, turn the main power switch (located on the back) OFF and do not operate for at least 30 minutes. Failure to turn it off may result in unexpected starting when the device cools.

Getting Started with Your iJoy Mini+

Your iJoy Mini+ comes fully assembled. Just plug it in, turn it on, and you're set to go!

1. Unpack the box

   Carefully remove the iJoy Mini+ chair from its packaging.

2. Unfold the chair

   Gently pull upward on the iJoy Mini+ backrest to unfold the chair. Remove any cardboard packing material from the chair seat.

3. Plug it in

   Plug the power cord into a grounded 110 VAC power source.

4. Child safety lock

   Ensure the child safety lock is set to "Unlock" (indicated by an open padlock symbol). Setting the lock to "Locked" (indicated by a closed padlock symbol) prevents the power switch from being turned on. Keep the child safety lock in the "Locked" position when unattended to prevent children from using the chair.

5. Power on

   Turn the master power switch (located on the left-hand side of the chair) to "On" (indicated by a circle with a vertical line through it).

Adjusting and Moving Your iJoy Mini+

Getting Comfortable

While sitting in the chair, adjust the backrest by pulling the backrest handle up. Lean backward or forward until you find a comfortable position, then release the handle. The backrest release knob allows the chair to be folded down for easy relocation or storage.

Moving or Storing Your iJoy Mini+

1. Secure the power cord and remote control

   Unplug the power cord. Tuck the power cord plug and the remote control into the storage pocket.

2. Fold the chair

   From the front of the chair, pull the backrest release knob (on the chair bottom) with your left hand, pull the backrest down onto the chair seat with your right hand, then release the backrest release knob.

3. Ready to roll

   Grab the hand grip at the front, center of the base, and tilt the chair up onto its rear wheels. Roll your iJoy Mini+ to its new location. Be careful not to trip over any loose cords.

The iJoy Mini+ chair is easy to use, with a backrest lever for angle adjustment and built-in rear wheels and a hand grip for effortless movement.

Controlling Your iJoy Mini+ Massage Chair

Your iJoy Mini+ massage chair offers various modes to customize your massage experience. The remote control, conveniently located in a pocket on the left-hand side of the chair, allows you to select and adjust massage settings.

Remote Control Functions:

• Power: Illuminates to indicate the master power switch is on.
• Stop: Halts the current massage program.
• Position (Up/Down Arrows): Use these buttons with stationary massage modes to set the massage rollers to a desired position on the backrest. A slight pause occurs when changing direction as the chair gears shift.

Massage Modes:

• Kneading

  Emulates small, circular motions on both sides of the spine simultaneously, relieving tension and soreness by lifting and stretching muscles. This mode improves circulation and helps bring vital nutrients to the spinal area.

• Percussion

  Alternates rapid-tapping strokes along the spine, stimulating spinal muscles and joint areas. This technique, similar to sports medicine massage, flexes spinal joints and relieves pressure on the spinal column, invigorating the entire back area.

• Rolling

  Gently rolls up and down your back near your spine, alternating side-to-side. This warms up and loosens muscles, preparing your back for deeper massage. Rolling massage relieves muscle tension, improves circulation, and relaxes the back.

• Auto

  A combination of all three massage modes. The remote control lights indicate which mode is active.

Whether you prefer specific modes or the automatic program, the iJoy Mini+ offers maximum flexibility to meet your back massage needs.

Customizing Massage Intensity and Product Care

For a Stronger Massage

The iJoy Mini+ chair comes preinstalled with a massage-softening pad, which can be removed for a stronger, more intense massage. Keep the pad handy for future re-insertion.

1. Locate the two zipper pulls at the top of the backrest. Open the backrest zippers about halfway down the length of the backrest.
2. Unzip the massage-softening pad pocket.
3. Remove the massage-softening pad from the pocket, then zip the pocket closed.
4. Close the backrest zippers.
5. For a full-intensity massage, flip the head pillow over the top of the backrest.

To re-insert the massage-softening pad, follow these steps in reverse.

Note: Your iJoy chair may have zippers closed with a plastic Security Tie. Cut the Security Tie with a nail clipper or other suitable instrument, taking care not to cut the chair upholstery.

Care & Maintenance Guidelines

To keep your iJoy Mini+ product working and looking its best, follow these simple care guidelines:

1. Always disconnect the power cord from the electrical outlet before cleaning.
2. Do not use benzene, thinner, or any other solvents on your massage chair.
3. Remove dust on the backrest or armrest with a vacuum.
4. If the backrest or armrests become soiled, wipe with a damp cloth, then a dry cloth.
5. Common upholstery cleaners may be used for tough stains.
6. When cleaning the controller or around the power switch, use a dry cloth only. Never use a damp cloth to clean the controller or power switch.
7. It is suggested to cover the chair when not in use for a long period of time.
8. The mechanics of this product are specially designed and constructed to be maintenance-free. No periodic lubrication or servicing is required.
9. Foreign objects should not be inserted between the massage nodes or the unit housing.
10. When not in use for a long period, it is recommended that the power cord be coiled and that the unit be placed in an environment free of dust and moisture.
11. Do not store near heat or open flame. Do not leave this product exposed to direct sunlight for long periods, as this may cause fading or damage.

Limited One (1) Year Warranty

Interactive Health designs, develops, manufactures, and sells high-quality massage products. The Interactive Health®, HTT™ massage chair comes with a limited one-year warranty covering mechanical or structural defects in workmanship according to the guidelines below.

Coverage Guidelines:

The warranty begins on the original purchase date.

• Factory Service (Labor): Interactive Health supplies packing materials, covers return shipping, repair parts, and labor for repairs.
• Parts Only (Parts): Interactive Health supplies repair parts and covers return shipping for factory repairs.
• Structural (Metal Frame): Interactive Health supplies packing materials and repair parts and covers return shipping for factory repairs.

General Limitations:

• The warranty is valid only within the United States and Canada, provided the product has been operated according to instructions and not misused or damaged beyond Interactive Health's control.
• All service must be approved by Interactive Health and performed by authorized technicians.
• The warranty applies only to the massage chair; accessories or enhancements are not covered.
• Important exclusions apply to cosmetic items such as fabrics, woods, foams, padding, and plastic covers.
• Interactive Health is not responsible for losses, damages, or inconvenience caused by equipment failure.

• Warranties do not apply to rental, business, commercial, institutional, or other non-residential users.
• Separate warranty terms apply to used/refurbished products, including those received out-of-box. Proof of purchase (original receipt) is required for all warranty repairs.

All warranty service requires approval and authorization by Interactive Health®. Products require a Return Merchandise Authorization Number (RMA) for factory returns. The consumer is responsible for packing the product in the original box or approved packaging. Shipping and freight coverage under this warranty requires scheduling by Interactive Health and only includes "curb-side" pickup/delivery. Products received without a valid RMA number or one clearly marked on the box will be refused.
