Installation Instructions for RIAA Pre-amp on Airlab-DT EQ Module
Installation Guide
This document provides instructions for installing a RIAA pre-amplifier option onto a D&R Airlab-DT EQ module.
Instructions
- Remove the screw cover strips located on the top and bottom of the module.
- Remove all screws from the Tripe EQ module where the RIAA pre-amp option is to be installed.
- Lift the module out of its housing.
- Carefully remove the module from the console and place it on a soft surface.
- Remove any jumpers on the printed board where the RIAA option will be placed.
- Connect the purchased RIAA pre-amp option onto the printed board. Ensure it is correctly aligned over the male and female headers.
- Now, carefully place the module back inside the console.
- Test all functions before reassembling the front panels.
Component Identification
The RIAA pre-amp option is a small circuit board designed to be installed onto the main Airlab-DT EQ module. It features various electronic components including resistors (labeled 'R'), capacitors (labeled 'C'), integrated circuits (labeled 'IC'), and connection headers. The main Airlab-DT EQ module has multiple input and output connectors, potentiometers (knobs), and switches for audio signal processing.
