How to Include a RIAA Pre-amp Inside Your Airence Extender Unit

This guide details the process of installing a RIAA pre-amplifier module into a D&R Airence Extender unit.

Installation Steps

Place the Extender unit upside down on a soft surface, protecting its knobs.
Remove the bottom plate/frame and the back panel.
Using a PZ 2 or Torx screwdriver, unscrew the two bolts located below the front panel, beneath the faders.
Additionally, unscrew the two bolts on the bottom of the frame and the two bolts on the sides (one on the left and one on the right).
Carefully remove the bottom frame to access the internal PCBs.
Connect your RIAA pre-amp to one of the available channels on the Extender unit.
Ensure correct connection by aligning and joining the female and male connector headers.
