9. Adding Game Methods

There are multiple ways to add games:

The First Type: (Compatible with multiple Windows systems)

  1. Insert the game console memory card into a computer.
  2. Open DiskGenius software and ensure it recognizes the memory card.
  3. Locate the 'rom' folder and place the game files into the corresponding emulator's folder.
  4. Safely eject the memory card after transmission.

The Second Type:

If using the memory card equipped with the game console, insert it directly into a Windows 10 computer. Access the data mobile hard disk and copy game files directly to the corresponding emulator's 'roms' folder.

The Third Type: (Network Connection)

  1. Connect the device to the network first.
  2. View the device's IP address (e.g., 10.10.10.117).
  3. On a computer, open the resource manager and enter \10.10.10.117.
  4. If prompted for a username and password, use root and emuelec respectively.
  5. Open the 'Storage/Roms' folder. Subfolders correspond to simulator games; place game files in the correct folder for identification.

Example of Folder List Corresponding to Emulators:

Emulator Format Folder Path
Arcade-FBA format roms\arcade\fba
Arcade-MAME format roms\arcade\mame2003
SNES roms\nes
PSP roms\psp
PS1 roms\psx
NES/FC roms\nes

Note: The system identifies games by folder name. Do not alter directory structure; simply copy game files to the appropriate emulator folder.

10. Change Game Emulators

If individual games do not open or you wish to try different emulators, follow these steps:

Select the game >> Long press the B key >> Game settings menu >> Advanced Game Options >> Emulator >> Choose the desired emulator.

11. Q&A

  • Can I change the resolution? The game system resolution is adaptive; do not manually change it.
  • Can I add games by myself? Yes, the SUPER CONSOLE X2 PRO uses an open-source Linux system and supports adding games independently.
  • I changed some settings in EmuELEC and it's not working, what should I do? Modifying advanced settings in EmuELEC can cause malfunctions. It is highly recommended not to do so. If the game card is not formatted, recovery is possible. Contact customer support or search online for "EmuELEC" issues for guides and fixes.
