Game Management
10. Adding Game Methods
There are multiple ways to copy games:
The First Type (Windows Systems):
- Insert the game console memory card into a computer.
- Use DiskGenius software to ensure it recognizes the memory card.
- Locate the 'roms' folder and place game files in the appropriate subfolder corresponding to the emulator.
- Safely eject the memory card after transfer.
The Second Type (Direct Copy):
If using the memory card pre-equipped with the console, insert it into a Windows 10 computer. Access the data as a mobile hard disk and copy game files directly into the 'roms' folder of the corresponding emulator.
The Third Type (Network Connection):
- Connect the device to the network first.
- View the device's IP address (e.g., 10.10.10.117).
- In the computer's resource manager, enter \\10.10.10.117 and press Enter.
- If prompted for username/password, use 'root'/'emuelec'.
- Open the Storage/Roms Folder. You will see subfolders for each simulator. Place game files in the correct simulator's folder for identification.
Example Folder Structure for Simulators:
Format | Path |
---|---|
Arcade-FBA | roms\arcade\fba |
Arcade-MAME | roms\arcade\mame2003 |
SNES | roms\nes |
PSP | roms\psp |
PS1 | roms\psx |
NES/FC | roms\nes |
Note: The system identifies games by folder name. Do not alter the directory structure; only copy game files into the respective simulator folders.
11. Change Game Emulators:
If a game doesn't open or you wish to try a different emulator:
- Select the game.
- Long press the B key.
- Navigate to: Game settings menu [arrow] > Advanced Game Options [arrow] > Emulator [arrow] > Choose the desired emulator.
