Waterdrop Pitcher Filtration System

Welcome to the Waterdrop Pitcher Filtration System Owner's Manual. This guide provides essential information for setting up, using, and maintaining your water filter pitcher for optimal performance and clean, great-tasting water.

About Your Waterdrop System

Thank you for choosing Waterdrop. This pitcher filtration system is designed to deliver clean, healthy, and great-tasting water for you and your family. It effectively adsorbs contaminants and heavy metals while retaining beneficial minerals.

Note on TDS: Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) refers to minerals like sodium, calcium, and magnesium. While TDS levels do not fully indicate water quality, this filter is designed to remove harmful substances while keeping beneficial minerals.

Key Features and Contents

  • What's Included: Lid, Water filter, Reservoir, Tank, Filter life indicator, Handle.
  • NSF Certification: The system is tested and certified by NSF International against NSF/ANSI Standard 42 for reduction claims and NSF/ANSI 372 for lead content.

Getting Started and Usage

Follow these simple steps to get started:

  1. Wash hands and remove the filter from its packaging.
  2. Soak the filter in cold tap water for 10 minutes to remove air bubbles.
  3. Hand-wash the pitcher, lid, and reservoir with mild detergent. Rinse thoroughly.
  4. Install the filter into the reservoir, pressing firmly.
  5. Fill the reservoir with cold tap water and discard the first two pitchers of filtered water.
  6. Activate the filter life indicator by pressing the button for 5 seconds until the blue light flashes. Repeat after each filter replacement.

Care and Safety Information

  • Use cold water only (41-100°F/5-38°C).
  • Do not use with microbiologically unsafe water or water of unknown quality.
  • Store the system in a cool, shaded area or refrigerator for best results.
  • If the filter dries out, soak it for 10 minutes before use.
  • Flush the system if tap water is very turbid.
  • Protect the filter from freezing to prevent cracking.

Filter Replacement and Indicator

Replace the water filter when the indicator shows it's time or after 200 gallons/3 months. The filter life indicator is replaceable by squeezing the clamping jaw.
