Location Requirements & Standard Installation
IMPORTANT: Observe all governing codes and ordinances.
- Cabinet opening dimensions must be used as shown, providing minimum clearance.
- Recessed installation area requires complete enclosure around the oven.
- Grounded electrical supply is required.
- Junction box should be located max 3" (7.6 cm) above the top enclosure surface. A 1" (2.5 cm) minimum diameter hole is needed in the support surface for the appliance cable.
- For undercounter installations, the junction box is recommended in an adjacent cabinet.
- Oven support surface must be solid, level, and flush with the bottom of the cabinet cutout.
- Floor must support a single oven weight of 215 lbs (97.5 kg) for 30" (76.2 cm) models.
IMPORTANT: To avoid cabinet damage, verify material compatibility with your builder or cabinet supplier. This oven complies with maximum allowable wood cabinet temperatures of 194°F (90°C).
- For models installed above a warming drawer or using flush cabinetry, a deflector assembly must be installed. Refer to the Owner's Manual.

Cabinet Installation Dimensions (Standard)
Details for installing single ovens within a cabinet.
Diagram: Single Ovens Installed in Cabinet (Front View & Side View)
Shows cabinet opening dimensions for standard installation. Labels A-G indicate: minimum cabinet width, top of cutout to bottom of upper cabinet door, bottom of cutout to floor, minimum cutout width, bottom of cutout to top of cabinet door, recommended cutout height, and cutout depth.
NOTE: Cutout height can be between 27¼" and 29⁷⁄₁₆" (69.2 cm and 74.8 cm). Contact service for cutouts greater than 28¹¹⁄₁₆" (72.9 cm).
Flush Installation Dimensions
Provides dimensions for a flush installation, offering an alternative style.
NOTE: For flush installations, add the deflector assembly. Refer to the Owner's Manual.
A minimum cutout depth of 25" (63.5 cm) is required. Gaps of 1/8" (0.3 cm) above and below the product are typical but not required for installation.

For approved model number combinations, refer to the undercounter label on the oven.
NOTE: For undercounter installations, add the deflector assembly. Refer to the Owner's Manual.
Electrical Requirements & Connection
Disconnect power before servicing. Electrically ground appliance. Failure to do so can result in death, fire, or electrical shock.
Ensure electrical connections and wire sizes are adequate and conform to National Electrical Code (NEC), ANSI/NFPA 70, Canadian Electrical Code (CSA C22.1), and local codes.
Consult a qualified electrician if unsure about grounding or wiring.
The oven must be connected to a grounded metal, permanent wiring system.
Electrical Connection:
- Determine the type of electrical connection and follow instructions.
- Connect to the proper voltage and frequency as specified on the model/serial/rating plate.
- A circuit breaker is recommended.
- Connect directly to the fused disconnect or circuit breaker box via flexible, armored, or nonmetallic sheathed copper cable with a grounding wire.
- Flexible conduit from the oven connects directly to the junction box.
- Fuse both sides of the line. Do not cut the conduit.
- A UL listed or CSA-approved conduit connector must be provided.
- For aluminum wiring, use special connectors and follow manufacturer recommendations for copper-to-aluminum connections.
Circuit Requirements:
- Models rated 7.3 to 9.6 kW at 240 V (5.4 to 7.4 kW at 208 V) require a separate 40 A circuit.
- Models rated 4.8 kW and below at 240 V (3.6 kW and below at 208 V) require a separate 20 A circuit.

Gas Cooktop Combination Notes
For approved built-in oven and gas cooktop combinations, refer to specific dimension charts and electrical/gas connection requirements provided in the document, including gas line routing and junction box locations.
NOTE: For undercounter installations, add the deflector assembly and ensure proper junction box placement and cable routing as per the Owner's Manual.
General Important Notes
- Always adhere to local codes and regulations.
- Refer to the Owner's Manual for detailed installation procedures, deflector assembly, and specific model compatibility.
- Verify cabinet material compatibility to prevent discoloration or damage.
