NYSJÖN Assembly Instructions
This document provides step-by-step instructions for assembling the IKEA NYSJÖN furniture. Please read all instructions carefully before beginning assembly.

Serious or fatal crushing injuries can occur from furniture tip over. To prevent tip over, this furniture must be used with the wall attachment device(s) provided.
Screw(s) and plug(s) for the wall are not included. Use screw(s) and plug(s) suitable for your walls. If you are uncertain, seek professional advice. Read and follow each step of the instruction carefully.
Always ensure that the furniture is securely attached to the wall to prevent tipping.

Assembly Steps
Step 1: Prepare Base Panel
Attach four brackets (Part No. 10048881) to the base panel components (Part No. 10032274) using four screws (Part No. 10048881).
Step 2: Insert Dowels
Insert sixteen dowels (Part No. 123492) into the pre-drilled holes on the base panel components.
Step 3: Attach Internal Dividers
Attach four internal divider panels to the base panel components. Use sixteen dowels (Part No. 101375) and sixteen screws (Part No. 119976) to secure them.
Step 4: Insert Dividers
Slide the attached internal divider panels into the designated slots on the base panel components.
Step 5: Install Cam Locks
Insert eight cam locks (Part No. 102509) into the corresponding holes on the internal divider panels.
Step 6: Position Top Panel
Carefully place the top panel onto the assembled structure, aligning it with the dowels and cam lock receivers.
Step 7: Secure Top Panel
Turn the eight cam locks (Part No. 102509) clockwise to secure the top panel to the structure.
Step 8: Attach Back Panel
Slide the back panel into the groove on the rear of the assembled unit.
Step 9: Secure Back Panel
Fasten the back panel using one screw (Part No. 101221).
Step 10: Attach Component A
Attach a component (Part No. 105494) to the unit using one screw (Part No. 101221).
Step 11: Attach Component B
Attach another component (Part No. 105494) to the unit using one screw (Part No. 101221).
Step 12: Prepare for Wall Mounting
Attach the main cabinet body to the wall mounting system. This involves inserting twenty-seven screws (Part No. 101221) into the designated points on the cabinet.
Step 13: Attach Wall Brackets to Cabinet
Attach two wall brackets (Part No. 124431) to the cabinet using two screws (Part No. 124431).
Step 14: Attach Wall Mounting Hardware
Attach two wall mounting hardware pieces (Part No. 10056734) to the cabinet using two screws (Part No. 10056734).
Step 15: Attach Feet
Screw two feet (Part No. 10056734) into the bottom of the cabinet.
Step 16: Wall Mounting - Cabinet Attachment
Lift the assembled cabinet and align it with the wall brackets previously installed on the wall. Secure the cabinet to the wall brackets.
Step 17: Secure Cabinet to Wall Brackets
Use four screws (Part No. 124431) to firmly attach the cabinet to the wall brackets.
Step 18: Install Wall Plates (Left Side)
Attach four wall mounting plates (Part No. 10043569) to the wall at the desired height and position. Ensure they are level.
Step 19: Install Wall Plates (Right Side)
Attach four wall mounting plates (Part No. 153647) to the wall at the desired height and position. Ensure they are level.
Step 20: Attach Hinges to Doors
Attach three hinges (Part No. 144553) to the cabinet doors using the provided screws.
Step 21: Attach Hinges to Cabinet Body
Mount the doors with attached hinges to the cabinet body by securing the hinges to the cabinet frame.
Step 22: Insert Decorative Rings
Press the two decorative rings (Part No. 122619) and two decorative rings (Part No. 122584) into the circular openings on the doors until they click into place.
Step 23: Attach Cover Plates
Attach three cover plates (Part No. 139244) to the hinges for a finished look.
Step 24: Wall Drilling Guide
For wall mounting, drill holes into the wall using a 5mm (3/16") drill bit. The recommended drilling depth is 30mm (1 1/4"). Ensure the drill is perpendicular to the wall.
Step 25: Attach Final Component
Attach the final component (Part No. 106266) using one screw (Part No. 119976) and one screw (Part No. 101221).
Step 26: Install Shelf Supports
Insert two shelf supports (Part No. 107091) into the desired positions inside the cabinet.
Step 27: Attach Feet
Attach two feet (Part No. 123029) to the bottom of the cabinet and secure them with screws (Part No. 124431).
Step 28: Assemble Fabric Baskets
Unfold and assemble the two fabric baskets.
Step 29: Insert Fabric Baskets
Place the assembled fabric baskets into the cabinet.
Adjustments
The hinges can be adjusted to ensure doors are aligned correctly. Refer to the detailed diagrams for hinge adjustment screws (typically for height, depth, and side-to-side alignment).
