Controller Layout

The SN30 Pro for Android controller features a layout with various buttons and indicators. On the top left, you have the LB (Left Bumper) and LT (Left Trigger) buttons. The view button is located below these. The d-pad is centrally positioned. Below the d-pad are the LSB (Left Stick Button) and LTS (Left Stick). The Xbox button is also present.

On the top right, you find the RB (Right Bumper) and RT (Right Trigger) buttons, along with the menu button. The profile LED and profile button are located below these. The star button is also present. The right stick and its button are on the right side. The controller also includes face buttons labeled Y, X, B, and A.

Indicators include a white status LED, a power LED, and a profile LED.

Bluetooth Connectivity

1. Press the Xbox button to turn on the controller; the white status LED will blink.
2. Press and hold the pair button for 3 seconds to enter pairing mode; the white status LED will blink rapidly.
3. On your Android device, go to Bluetooth settings and pair with "8BitDo SN30 Pro for Android".
4. The white status LED will remain solid when the connection is successful.
5. The controller will automatically reconnect to your Android device when the Xbox button is pressed, after it has been paired.

Button Swap

You can swap the functions of buttons A/B/X/Y, LB/RB, and LSB/RSB.

1. Press and hold any two of the buttons you wish to swap (A/B/X/Y/LB/RB/LSB/RSB).
2. Press the star button ? to swap them. The profile LED will blink to indicate a successful swap.
3. To cancel the swap, press and hold the two swapped buttons again, then press the star button ?.

Button mapping reverts to its default mode when the controller is turned off. For more information, please visit support.8bitdo.com.

Custom Software

The controller supports custom software for button mapping, thumb stick sensitivity adjustment, and trigger sensitivity alteration.

• To activate or deactivate customization, press the profile button. The profile LED will turn on to indicate activation.

Analog Trigger to Digital Trigger

You can switch the LT and RT trigger inputs between analog and digital modes.

1. Press and hold LT + RT + star button ? to shift the trigger input to digital.
2. When LT/RT are in digital mode, the profile LED will blink when they are pressed.
3. Press and hold LT + RT + star button ? again to shift the trigger input back to analog. The profile LED will cease to blink.

The trigger input reverts to its default analog mode when the controller is turned off.

Battery

The controller features a built-in 480 mAh Li-ion battery providing approximately 16 hours of playtime. Charging takes about 1-2 hours via a USB cable.

Battery Status Indicators:

• Low battery mode: Red LED blinks.
• Battery charging: Green LED blinks.
• Battery fully charged: Green LED stays solid.

The controller enters sleep mode after 2 minutes of no Bluetooth connection or 15 minutes of no use. Press the Xbox button to wake up the controller. When connected via USB, the controller remains on at all times.
