8BitDo SN30 Pro for Android

Controller Layout

The controller features the following buttons and indicators:

• Top/Front: LB, LT, View, D-pad, LSB/LTS (Left Stick/Left Stick Button), Star button, Pair button, Power LED, RB, RT, Menu button, Xbox button, Y, X, B, A buttons, RSB/RTS (Right Stick/Right Stick Button), Profile LED, Profile button.
• Power On: Press the Xbox button.
• Power Off: Hold the Xbox button for 6 seconds.

Android Connection

System Requirements

Requires Android system version 9.0 or above.

Bluetooth Connection

1. Press the Xbox button to turn on the controller; the status LED will start blinking ?.
2. Hold the Pair button for 3 seconds until the status LED blinks rapidly to enter pairing mode (required only for the first connection).
3. On your Android device, go to Bluetooth settings, search for "8BitDo SN30 Pro for Android", and pair. The LED will stay solid green ? upon successful connection.

Wired Connection

OTG support is required on your Android device. Please consult your device manufacturer for details.

Connect the controller to the USB port of your Android device. Wait for the controller to be successfully recognized by your Android device to begin playing.

Apple Connection

Bluetooth Connection

1. Press the Xbox button to turn on the controller; the status LED will start blinking ?.
2. Hold the Pair button for 3 seconds until the status LED blinks rapidly to enter pairing mode (required only for the first connection).
3. On your Apple device, go to Bluetooth settings, search for "8BitDo SN30 Pro for Android", and pair. The LED will stay solid green ? upon successful connection.

Wired Connection

USB wired connection is supported only for macOS or iPadOS devices with USB-C ports.

Connect the controller to the USB port of your Apple device. Wait for the controller to be successfully recognized by your Apple device to play.

Button Swap

Hold any two buttons you wish to swap, then press the Star button to activate or deactivate the button swap function.

• Buttons that have been swapped will have their profile LED blink continuously when pressed.
• Swapped button functions are not saved after the controller is turned off; they will revert to default.
• The D-pad, View, Menu, LT, RT, and Xbox buttons do not support swapping.

Battery

The controller is equipped with a built-in 480mAh Li-on battery, providing approximately 16 hours of playtime. Charging time is about 1 to 2 hours.

Power Status Indicator

• Low Battery: Red LED blinks ?.
• Charging: Green LED blinks ?.
• Charged: Green LED stays solid ?.

The controller will automatically turn off after 2 minutes of inactivity if not connected, or after 15 minutes of inactivity when connected via Bluetooth.

The controller remains on when connected via USB.

Ultimate Software

The Ultimate Software allows for elite control over your controller, enabling customization of button mapping, stick sensitivity, and trigger sensitivity.

Press the Profile button to activate or deactivate custom profiles. The profile indicator will not light up when using default settings.
