General Precautions
To ensure proper use and longevity of your Casio watch, please observe the following precautions:
- Avoid exposing the watch to extreme temperatures.
- Handle the watch with care; avoid rough handling and dropping it.
- Do not fasten the watch band too tightly. Ensure a finger can fit between your wrist and the band.
- To clean the watch and band, use a dry soft cloth. For tougher dirt, use a soft cloth dampened with a mild neutral detergent solution. Never use volatile agents like gasoline, solvents, or spray cleaners, as they can damage gaskets, the case, and the finish.
- When not wearing your watch, store it in a dry place.
- Avoid contact with gasoline, cleaning solvents, spray aerosols, adhesives, paint, etc., as chemical reactions can damage watch components.
- Be cautious when cleaning watch bands with silk-screened graphics to prevent damage to the designs.
Battery Information
The battery installed at the factory may discharge during shipping and storage. If the display becomes dim, it indicates low battery power. Please have the battery replaced by a CASIO authorized service center or dealer.
Water Resistance
Watch water resistance is categorized by levels. Consult the table below to understand your watch's capabilities. Note that water resistance ratings are based on testing under laboratory conditions and do not guarantee performance in all situations.
For all water-resistant watches, do not press buttons underwater, set hands underwater, or unscrew the crown underwater.
If the watch is exposed to salt water, rinse it thoroughly with fresh water and dry it.
Do not wear a watch with a leather band while swimming. Avoid prolonged contact of leather bands with water.

Care for Your Watch
- Never attempt to open the watch case or remove the back cover yourself.
- The rubber gasket that ensures water and dust resistance should be replaced approximately every 2 to 3 years.
- If moisture enters the watch, have it inspected immediately by your dealer or CASIO distributor.
Notes on Plastic and Fluorescent Bands/Cases
Plastic Bands
A whitish powdery substance may appear on plastic bands. This is harmless and can be removed by wiping with a cloth. Sweat or moisture on a plastic band, or storage in high humidity, can cause damage. Wipe the band with a soft cloth to maintain its condition.
Fluorescent Cases and Bands
Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or moisture can cause fluorescent colors to fade. Wipe off any moisture from the watch surface promptly. Avoid contact with other surfaces that may transfer color.
