Instructions
Follow these instructions to install your UTV Stereo Stage Kit. For detailed guidance on individual components, refer to the specific install instructions and videos available at utvstereo.com.
- Remove seats and disconnect the battery.
- Disassemble the upper dash. Remove fenders or panels to access the amplifier mount location. (Reference Large Upper Amplifier Mount Instructions)
- Remove front and rear center console panels to access power harness routing. (Reference Power Harness Instructions)
- Install the amplifier mount. (Reference Large Upper Amplifier Mount Instructions)
- Install amplifiers onto the amplifier mount.
- Route the power harness from the bus bar to the amplifier. Ensure the fuse is removed during installation. (Reference Power Harness Instructions)
- Install sub boxes and subwoofers into the vehicle, routing wires to the amplifier. (Reference Sub Box Instructions)
- Install the source unit into the lower source unit mount. (Reference Lower Source Unit Mount Instructions)
- Install the source unit mount into the center pocket. (Reference Lower Source Unit Mount Instructions)
- Connect power wires from the source unit to the source unit harness. Connect the source unit harness to the bus bar and mount the switch. (Reference Source Unit Harness Instructions)
- Connect and route the remote wire and RCA wire from the source unit to the amplifier. (Reference Wire Diagram) Connect any rear camera, reverse trigger, or USB/AUX connections at this time.
- Install the RGB controller harness switch. Connect and route the RGB controller and RGB wires near the amplifier. Route bus bar wires to the bus bar. (Reference RGB Controller Kit Instructions)
- Install dash panels and cage pods. (Reference Dash Panel and Cage Pod Instructions)
- Connect speaker wire and RGB wire to all speakers. Install speakers into dash panels and cage pods. (Reference Dash Panel, Cage Pod, and Speaker Instructions)
- Route speaker wires to the amplifier or RGB controller and make connections. (Reference Wire Diagram and RGB Controller Wire Diagram)
- Install the fuse into the power harness and reconnect the battery.
- Power on and tune the amplifier. (Reference Page 4 & 5)
- Install center console covers. (Reference Center Console Cover Instructions)

Elite Series UTVS-E1000.4D Amplifier Tuning:
The tuning blueprint provides a visual guide for setting the amplifier controls. Users are instructed to cut out the provided image, align it with the amplifier tuning panel, and make adjustments accordingly. Key settings include HPF, LPF, CLIP, SENS, and FREQ for both front and rear channels.
Front/Rear Channel Settings (Example):
- HPF: Set according to speaker requirements.
- LPF: Set according to speaker requirements.
- SENS (Sensitivity): Adjust for optimal signal input.
- FREQ: Typically set between 40Hz - 400Hz.
- CLIP: Monitor for clipping to prevent distortion.
- POWER PROTECT: Indicates amplifier protection status.
Elite Series UTVS-E1200.1D Amplifier Tuning:
Similar to the 4-channel amplifier, the UTVS-E1200.1D tuning blueprint guides users through setting controls for optimal subwoofer performance. Key settings include LPF, SENS, BOOST, PHASE, SUBSONIC, and CLIP.
Subwoofer Channel Settings (Example):
- LPF: Typically set between 50Hz - 250Hz.
- SENS (Sensitivity): Adjust for optimal signal input.
- BOOST: Adjust bass boost level (0dB - 18dB).
- PHASE: Adjust between 0° and 180° for best bass integration.
- SUBSONIC: Typically set between 10Hz - 55Hz to filter out ultra-low frequencies.
- CLIP: Monitor for clipping to prevent distortion.
- POWER PROTECT: Indicates amplifier protection status.
