This TV comes with this Simple User Guide and an embedded User guide. Access the embedded guide via your TV's settings menu (e.g., [Left Directional Button] → Settings → Support → Open User guide or [Left Directional Button] → Settings → Support → Tips and User Guides → Open User guide, depending on model). You can also download manuals and view their contents on your PC or mobile device from www.samsung.com.

Please read the Safety Instructions before using your TV. Refer to the table below for an explanation of symbols which may be on your Samsung product.

Safety Symbols:

• CAUTION: RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK. DO NOT OPEN.
• CAUTION: TO REDUCE THE RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK, DO NOT REMOVE COVER (OR BACK). NO USER SERVICEABLE PARTS INSIDE. REFER ALL SERVICING TO QUALIFIED PERSONNEL.
• [Warning: High Voltage Symbol]: Indicates that high voltage is present inside. Contact with any internal part is dangerous.
• [Important Literature Symbol]: Indicates that important literature concerning operation and maintenance is included with the product.
• [Class II Product Symbol]: Indicates that a safety connection to electrical earth (ground) is not required. Products without this symbol and with a power cord MUST have a reliable connection to protective earth (ground).
• [AC Voltage Symbol]: Rated voltage marked with this symbol is AC voltage.
• [DC Voltage Symbol]: Rated voltage marked with this symbol is DC voltage.

Power Safety:

• Do not overload wall outlets, extension cords, or adapters beyond their voltage and capacity to prevent fire or electric shock. Refer to the power specifications section or the product's power supply label for details.
• Place power-supply cords where they are not likely to be walked on or pinched. Pay attention to cords at the plug end, wall outlets, and where they exit the appliance.
• Never insert metallic objects into open parts of the apparatus, as this may cause electric shock.
• To avoid electric shock, never touch the inside of the apparatus. Only qualified technicians should open it.
• Ensure the power cord is firmly seated. Pull the plug, not the cord, when unplugging from a wall outlet. Do not touch the power cord with wet hands.
• If the apparatus does not operate normally (unusual sounds or smells), unplug it immediately and contact an authorized dealer or Samsung service center.
• To protect the apparatus from lightning storms or for long periods of unattended use, unplug it from the wall outlet and disconnect the antenna or cable system.
• Accumulated dust can cause electric shock, leakage, or fire due to sparks, heat, or deteriorating insulation.
• Use only a properly grounded plug and wall outlet. (For Class I Equipment only.)
• To turn off the apparatus completely, disconnect it from the wall outlet. Ensure the wall outlet and power plug are readily accessible for quick unplugging.

Installation

• Do not place the apparatus near or over radiators, heat registers, or in direct sunlight.
• Do not place vessels containing water on the apparatus, as this can result in fire or electric shock.
• Do not expose the apparatus to rain or moisture.
• Contact an authorized Samsung service center if installing in locations with heavy dust, extreme temperatures, high humidity, chemical substances, or continuous 24-hour operation (e.g., airports, train stations), as failure to do so may lead to serious damage.
• Do not expose the apparatus to dripping or splashing.

Mounting the TV on a Wall:

• Follow manufacturer's instructions precisely. Incorrect mounting can cause serious injury or damage.
• Order Samsung wall mount kits from a Samsung service center.
• Samsung Electronics is not responsible for damage or injury if you install the wall mount yourself or use a non-VESA or non-specified wall mount.
• Mount on a solid wall perpendicular to the floor. Consult your dealer for installation on surfaces other than plasterboard. Mounting on a ceiling or slanted wall may cause severe personal injury.
• Fasten all four VESA screws when installing a wall mount kit.
• If using a two-screw top mount, ensure it's a Samsung-supported kit.
• Do not mount the TV at more than a 15-degree tilt.
• Standard wall mount dimensions are in the Unpacking and Installation Guide.
• Do not mount the TV while it is turned on to prevent electric shock.
• Do not use screws longer than standard or non-VESA compliant screws, as they may damage the TV's interior.
• Screw length may vary for non-VESA mounts.
• Do not overtighten screws; this may damage the product or cause it to fall, leading to injury. Samsung is not liable for such accidents.
• Always have two people mount the TV. For 82-inch or larger models, four people are recommended.

Providing Proper Ventilation:

Maintain at least 4 inches (10 cm) between the TV/One Connect Box and walls/objects for proper ventilation. Failure to do so may result in fire or product malfunction due to increased internal temperature.

When installing with a stand or wall mount, use only Samsung-provided parts to avoid difficulties or injury.

Safety Precautions

Caution: Pulling, pushing, or climbing on the TV may cause it to fall, leading to serious injury or death. Do not hang on or destabilize the TV. Follow all safety precautions in the included Safety Flyer. Consider purchasing and installing an anti-tip device as described in "Preventing the TV from Falling."

WARNING: Never place a television set in an unstable location. To avoid injuries:

• Always use cabinets, stands, or mounting methods recommended by Samsung.
• Always use furniture that can safely support the television set.
• Ensure the television set is not overhanging the edge of the supporting furniture.
• Educate about the dangers of climbing furniture to reach the TV or its controls.
• Route cords and cables so they cannot be tripped over, pulled, or grabbed.
• Never place the TV on tall furniture (cupboards, bookcases) without anchoring both the furniture and the TV to a suitable support.
• Never place the TV on cloth or other materials between the TV and supporting furniture.
• Never place items that might tempt climbing (toys, remote controls) on top of the TV or furniture.
• Apply these considerations when relocating or lifting the TV.

Preventing the TV from Falling:

Use a wall-anchor [Wall-anchor not supplied] and the following steps:

1. Firmly fasten brackets to the wall using appropriate screws. Ensure screws are secure. Wall anchors may be needed depending on wall type.
2. Firmly fasten brackets to the TV using appropriately sized screws (refer to Unpacking and Installation Guide for specifications).
3. Connect the TV brackets to the wall brackets with a durable, heavy-duty string and tie it tightly.
4. Install the TV near the wall to prevent it from falling backward.
5. Ensure wall brackets are at the same height or lower than the TV brackets.

Precautions with Stand Installation (The Frame only):

When installing The Frame TV with a stand, avoid placing the stand on the back part of the table surface. This may prevent the motion sensor at the bottom of the TV from working properly.

Operation

• This apparatus uses batteries. Dispose of batteries according to local environmental regulations. Contact local authorities for disposal or recycling information.
• Store accessories (remote control, batteries) safely out of reach.
• Do not drop or strike the product. If damaged, disconnect the power cord and contact a Samsung service center.
• Do not dispose of remote control or batteries in fire.
• Do not short-circuit, disassemble, or overheat batteries.
• After removing the screen protective film, never remove the Polarizing film. If the removal label is missing, the film is already removed.
• CAUTION: Danger of explosion if batteries are replaced with the wrong type. Replace only with the same or equivalent type.
• WARNING: Do not use liquid fumigators (insecticides, air fresheners) around the product. Steam contact may cause stains or malfunction.
• WARNING: Keep candles and other items with open flames away from the product at all times to prevent the spread of fire.

Caring for the TV

• To clean, unplug the power cord and wipe with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use chemicals like wax, benzene, alcohol, thinners, insecticide, air fresheners, lubricants, or detergents, as they can damage the appearance or erase printing.
• The exterior and screen can get scratched during cleaning. Wipe carefully with a soft cloth to prevent scratches.
• Do not spray water or liquid directly onto the TV. Liquid entering the product may cause failure, fire, or electric shock.

Internet Security

Samsung Smart TVs are protected against unauthorized incursions and hacking through measures like encrypted communications and controls preventing unauthorized application installation. However, no Internet-connected device is completely secure. Take additional steps to safeguard your TV and connection:

• Install software updates promptly when released by Samsung. Enable Auto Update in the TV's menu ([Left Directional Button] → Settings → Support → Software Update → Auto Update) to receive them automatically. Accept updates when prompted.
• Secure your wireless access point and network:
  • Secure your access point's management settings with a unique password.
  • Implement standard encryption (e.g., WPA2) on your wireless access point.
  • Secure access to your wireless network with a hard-to-guess password.
  • Ensure your access point's firewall is enabled.
• Ensure all Internet-connected devices are behind your network's firewall.
• Use the standby mode button on your access point/modem to disconnect your home network from the Internet when not in use.
• Use strong passwords for all Internet accounts (Netflix, Facebook, etc.).
• Do NOT accept unexpected messages asking for permission to link a device or enable a remote session.
• Do not visit suspicious websites or install suspicious programs. Install only authorized apps from Samsung Smart Hub.

Note: Some items may not be included depending on the TV model or One Connect connection method. Battery types and item colors/shapes may vary. Cables not included can be purchased separately.

Check packing materials for hidden accessories. Handle the screen carefully by its edges to avoid damage from direct pressure.

Do Not Touch This Screen!

Using the One Connect Cable Holder (S95F, The Frame (LS03FA) only):

The One Connect cable holder can be used to tidy cables during wall mount installation.

02 Connecting the TV to the One Connect Box (One Connect Box Supported Model only)

Refer to the Unpacking and Installation Guide for detailed connection instructions.

• Do not use the One Connect Box upside-down or upright.
• Take care not to subject the One Connect Cable to stress. The cable contains a power circuit.
• Do not place heavy objects on the cable.
• Do not disassemble cable connectors.
• Caution: Use of controls, adjustments, or procedures other than those specified herein may result in hazardous radiation exposure.

Cable Stress Warning:

CLASS 1 LASER PRODUCT (The Frame (LS03FA) only):

Caution: Invisible laser radiation when open. Do not stare into beam. Do not bend or cut the One Connect Cable excessively.

To use a mobile remote control, turn on the TV using the power button at the bottom, then scan the QR code displayed on the screen.

03 Initial Setup

When you turn on your TV for the first time, it starts the Initial Setup. Follow the on-screen instructions to configure basic settings for your viewing environment.

• A Samsung Account is required for network-based smart services. If you choose not to log in, you will only have access to terrestrial TV (if applicable) and external devices via HDMI.
• The 43LS03F model can be installed vertically for use.
• Some features may not support portrait mode or full screen.
• The initial setup is optimized for landscape mode.

Using the TV Controller:

Turn on the TV using the TV Controller button at the bottom of the TV, then use the Control menu. The menu appears when the button is pressed while the TV is on.

• The position and shape of the TV's bottom buttons may differ by model.
• The screen may dim if the protective film on the Samsung logo or the bottom of the TV is not removed. Remove the film if present.
• On model LS03FW, the TV Control button/Remote Control Sensor may move; this is by design to ensure smooth remote sensing with a Customizable Frame (sold separately).

How to Turn On and Off the Microphone:

Use the switch located at the bottom or rear bottom of the TV to turn the microphone on or off. When the microphone is off, all voice and sound features using it are unavailable. This function is supported on specific models (e.g., Q8F, QN7*F, QN8*F, QN9*F, QN9**F, S8*F, S9*F, MR95F, The Frame). The microphone switch position and shape may vary by model. Data from microphone analysis is not saved.

04 Troubleshooting and Maintenance

Troubleshooting

For more detailed troubleshooting, refer to the "Troubleshooting" section in the User guide (accessible via TV settings). If none of the tips apply, visit www.samsung.com for support or contact the Samsung service center.

• The TV panel is made of sub pixels requiring advanced technology. A few bright or dark pixels may be present but will not impact product performance.
• To keep your TV in optimum condition, upgrade to the latest software using the "Update Now" or "Auto Update" functions in the TV's menu.

The TV Won't Turn On:

• Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into the product and the wall outlet.
• Verify the wall outlet is working and the remote control sensor at the bottom of the TV is lit solid red.
• Try pressing the TV Controller button at the bottom of the TV to rule out a remote control issue. If the TV turns on, refer to "The remote control does not work."

The Remote Control Does Not Work:

• Check if the remote control sensor at the bottom of the TV blinks when you press a button on the remote.
• For models H5***F/F6***F/U7***F/U8***F/Q6F/QEF1: If the sensor does not blink, replace the remote's batteries, ensuring correct polarity. Alkaline batteries are recommended.
• For other models: If the remote's battery is discharged, charge it via the USB port (Type C) or expose the solar cell to light.
• Point the remote directly at the TV from 5 ft. to 6 ft. (1.5-1.8 m) away.
• If using a Samsung Smart Remote (Bluetooth), ensure it is paired. To pair, press and buttons together for 3 seconds.

Eco Sensor and Screen Brightness (except for H5***F, F6***F):

The Eco Sensor automatically adjusts TV brightness based on room lighting to reduce power consumption. To disable, navigate to [Left Directional Button] → Settings → All Settings → General & Privacy → Power and Energy Saving → Brightness Optimization.

The eco sensor is located at the bottom of the TV. Do not block it, as this can decrease picture brightness.

Notes:

• This device is a Class B digital apparatus.
• For power supply and consumption information, refer to the label attached to the product (usually on the back of the TV, or bottom of the One Connect Box).
• To connect a LAN cable, use a CAT 7 (*STP type) cable for 100/10 Mbps connection. (*Shielded Twisted Pair)
• Images and specifications in the Unpacking and Installation Guide may differ from the actual product.
• Operation in the 5150 - 5250 MHz band is for indoor use only.
• Operation in the 5925 - 7125 MHz band should follow specific guidelines.
• This product must not be used for control or communication with unmanned aircraft systems.
• Operation of this product is limited to indoor use only.
• Operation on oil platforms, automobiles, trains, maritime vessels, and aircraft is prohibited, except for large aircraft flying above 3,048 m (10,000 ft).

Decreasing Power Consumption:

When turned off, the TV enters Standby mode, drawing a small amount of power. To decrease power consumption, unplug the power cord when the TV will not be used for a long time.
