IKEA SPÄND Table Leg with Storage Assembly Instructions
This document provides instructions for assembling the IKEA SPÄND table leg with storage. Please follow each step carefully.
Before You Begin
Ensure you have all parts and tools required. The assembly process requires a screwdriver. Avoid assembling on rough surfaces or carpets to prevent damage.
Important:
- Do not force parts together.
- If you encounter difficulties, refer to the troubleshooting section or contact IKEA.

Assembly Steps
- Step 1: Prepare the Legs
Attach the adjustable feet to the bottom of the four main legs. Insert the screws into the designated holes on the legs and secure them with the provided Allen keys. Ensure the screws are tightened appropriately.

Connect the two side shelf supports to the main legs using the provided screws (100013) and spacers (114584 / 100648). Insert the screws through the legs and into the shelf supports, using the spacers between the components. Tighten with the appropriate tool. Ensure the correct orientation as shown in the diagram.

Repeat the process from Step 2 to attach the second shelf support to the other side of the legs, ensuring all connections are secure.

Place the assembled leg structure onto a flat surface. Use the longer screws (10074054 / 10062305) and the Allen key (130445) to secure the base crossbars to the legs. Ensure the screws are inserted correctly and do not exceed the recommended depth (less than 25 mm or 7/8 inch).

Attach the supports for the tabletop to the top of the legs using the remaining screws (10074054 / 10062305) and the Allen key (111531). Ensure these are securely fastened.

Slide the shelves into the designated slots on the shelf supports. Ensure they are fully seated and level.

Attach the top shelf or tray to the upper supports. This may involve sliding it into place or securing it with clips or fasteners as indicated.

Adjust the feet to ensure the table is stable and level on your floor. Use the provided velcro straps to manage any cables, securing them neatly to the legs.

Care and Maintenance
Wipe clean with a damp cloth. Check all screws periodically and retighten if necessary.
