APP Google Find My Device

Before Use

Download the official Google Find My Device app through the Google Play Store:

  1. Open the Google Play Store on your Android device.
  2. Search for "Find My Device".
  3. Verify the developer is Google LLC.
  4. Tap "Install" to complete the process.

Important Notes:

  1. System Requirements: Requires Android 9 or later, and the device must be logged into a Google account.
  2. Permission Settings: Ensure that "Location Services" and "Device Administrator" permissions are enabled.
  3. Security Warning: Avoid downloading APK files from unknown sources to prevent malware risks.

How to Connect

  1. Before connecting, ensure that your phone's Bluetooth is turned on and the WiFi signal is at full strength.
  2. Pull out the battery insulation tab to power on the device. Your phone will automatically prompt the product connection page immediately.
  3. Click "Connect".
  4. Read "Use Responsibly" and click "Agree and Continue".
  5. Once connected, click "Open App" to be redirected to the product management page.

How to Replace the Battery?

Use the tool to open the shell.

  • Open the shell using the tool.
  • Remove the old battery.
  • Insert the new CR2033 battery.
  • Close the shell.

How to Use the Function Button

Button:

  • Power On: Press the button once, the device is on.
  • Power Off: Press and hold the button for 5 seconds, the device is off.
  • Reset: Press the button 4 times quickly within 3 seconds, and long press the button the 5th time until you hear a beep, the device is in reset state.

Tip: If you want a refund, please make sure to remove the items you have added before returning to avoid disclosing your privacy.

Key Features & Functionality

  1. See on Map: View a map of your surroundings to pinpoint the exact location of your tagged item. Zoom in and out for detailed tracking.
  2. Activate Device: For hard-to-find items, use audio or visual cues. Ring your lost phone to locate it by sound, or make the tracker tag flash its LED lights.
  3. Hot/Cold "Nearby Finding": Get closer to your lost item by following signal strength indicators within the Find My Device app.
  4. Community Finding: Leverage the Find My Device network, where other Android devices worldwide can anonymously help locate your item if it's lost in a public place.
  5. Beyond the Phone: Use Google Assistant on Google Home or Pixel Watch devices with commands like "Hey Google, find my wallet" or "Hey Google, find my keys".
  6. Privacy Built-in: Location data is end-to-end encrypted, accessible only by you.
  7. For Your Eyes Only: Google does not use or share your data. Information remains confidential.
  8. Unknown Tracker Alerts: Receive notifications if an unknown device is detected moving with you, helping to deter unwanted tracking. You can view the device on a map or ring it.
