Installation

The outdoor digital yard stake timer consists of three main sections: the timer unit, the middle stake section, and the pointed ground stake. To install, connect these three sections together. Ensure the stake is firmly tightened to the body of the timer before inserting it into the ground.

Tip: If the ground is too hard to insert the stake, it is recommended to dig a hole that matches the stake's dimensions using a hard object.

Button Layout and Components

The timer unit features several key components:

  1. Light Sensor: Detects ambient light density to automatically turn connected devices on or off.
  2. Operating Mode Indicator: Displays the current operating mode.
  3. Select Button: Used to choose and switch between operating modes.
  4. Overload Protection Switch: Manually turns power on/off and provides overload protection.
  5. Outlets: Receptacles for plugging in lights or other devices to be controlled by the timer.
  6. Transmitter: The remote control unit used to operate the timer wirelessly.

The remote control unit typically includes buttons for ON, OFF, 2Hr, 4Hr, 6Hr, 8Hr, and Timer functions.

Operating Instructions

To begin, press the overload protection switch to the "I" (ON) position to turn on all outlets. The indicator on the switch will illuminate.

The yard stake timer can be operated either via the included transmitter (up to 100ft away) or by manually pressing the button on the stake to select the desired function. The following modes are available:

Control by Receiver (Timer Unit)

  1. Press the timer control button (3) to turn on all outlets to "On-Always On" mode. The power indicator (2) will light up.
  2. Press the timer control button (3) to select "Sensor" (dusk-to-dawn) mode. The indicator (2) will light up, and all outlets will be ON when sensing dusk and OFF at dawn.
  3. Press the timer control button (3) to select "Sensor plus 2hr, 4hr, 6hr or 8hr" mode. The indicators (2) for the Sensor and the specific hour selected will light up. All outlets will turn on when sensing dusk and then turn off after the selected duration.
  4. Press the timer control button (3) to select "Timer 8hr, 6hr, 4hr or 2hr" mode. The indicators (2) for the Timer and the specific hour selected will light up. All outlets will turn on immediately and then turn off after the selected duration. The current setting will repeat daily.

Control by Transmitter (Remote)

  1. Press the ON or OFF button on the transmitter to turn the receiver power ON or OFF.
  2. Press the Timer button plus 2Hr, 4Hr, 6Hr or 8Hr on the transmitter to turn on the receiver and then off after that specific hour you selected. This power cycle will repeat ON daily.
  3. Press the Sensor button (dusk-to-dawn) on the transmitter. The receiver will be ON when sensing dusk and OFF at dawn.
  4. Press the Sensor button plus 2Hr, 4Hr, 6Hr or 8Hr on the transmitter to turn on the receiver after sensing dusk and then off after the specific hour you selected.

Notes

Overload Protection

The unit features a reset function for overload protection. If the power unexpectedly turns off, unplug all connected devices, press the power switch (which resets the device), and then reconnect the devices.

Battery Handling and Usage

Battery Replacement (Remote Control)

To replace the battery in the remote control:

  1. Remove the battery compartment cover from the remote.
  2. Remove the old battery.
  3. Place a new Type 3V (CR2032) lithium battery into the battery compartment.
  4. Ensure the battery is installed correctly with the positive (+) side up. The battery compartment typically shows a diagram indicating the correct polarity for the CR2032 3V battery.

⚠ WARNING: Chemical Burn Hazard

The remote control supplied with this product contains a coin/button cell battery. If the coin/button cell battery is swallowed, it can cause severe internal burns in just 2 hours and can lead to death. Keep new and used batteries away from children. If the battery compartment does not close securely, stop using the product and keep it away from children. If you suspect batteries might have been swallowed or placed inside any part of the body, seek immediate medical attention.

Caution: Failure to properly align the battery polarity can cause personal injury and/or property damage.

Jewenwils provides a One Year Warranty for materials and workmanship from the purchase date, supported by their professional R&D and QC teams. The warranty does not cover damage caused by personal misuse or improper installation.
