Installation Instructions
The following steps outline the general installation process. Always refer to the specific manual for detailed instructions and safety precautions.
- Preparation: Ensure the power is switched off before installation. Check the mounting surface and ensure it is suitable for the luminaire. The product is rated IP20, but can achieve IP40 when installed in a suitable ceiling with the correct sealing. Minimum clearance of 50mm is required around the luminaire.
- Driver Connection: Connect the luminaire to the provided driver unit. Ensure correct polarity. The driver supports input voltages of 220-240V AC.
- Mounting:
- Recessed Mounting: The panel is designed for recessed installation into suspended ceilings. Ensure the ceiling opening is correctly sized (e.g., 595x595mm or 620x620mm depending on the model).
- Surface Mounting: Optional surface mounting kits (PL 600/625 Surface Mount Kit H75 or H70 VAL) are available for mounting the luminaire directly onto a surface.
- Suspension Mounting: An optional suspension kit (Suspension Kit EAN 4058075402928) can be used for pendant mounting.
- Wiring: Connect the luminaire wiring to the driver. The driver has terminals for mains input and output to the LED panel. Wire cross-sections of 0.75mm² to 2.5mm² are supported.
- Securing the Luminaire: Once wired, secure the luminaire in the ceiling or mounting frame. Ensure a firm and safe installation. For recessed mounting, clips may be used to secure the panel.
- Final Checks: Double-check all connections and ensure the luminaire is securely mounted.
- Power On: Restore power to the luminaire. The luminaire should illuminate.
Note on Zigbee Control: The 'ZB' models are equipped with Zigbee technology for wireless control. Pairing and configuration should be done via a compatible Zigbee gateway or controller.
