Installation Instructions
The following steps outline the general installation process for the PANEL FLEX 600/625 ZB. Always ensure the power is disconnected before beginning installation.
- Safety Precautions: Ensure proper safety measures are in place. The luminaire is designed for IP20 protection in its standard configuration and can be upgraded to IP40 with appropriate sealing.
- Ceiling Preparation: Prepare the ceiling opening according to the required dimensions. Ensure adequate clearance (≥50mm) around the opening and a depth of 10-20mm for mounting.
- Driver Connection: Connect the driver to the power supply. The driver is designed for 220-240V AC input.
- Wiring: Connect the luminaire to the driver using the provided connectors. Ensure correct polarity. The wiring diagram shows connections for 3x0.75 to 2.5mm² cables.
- Luminaire Mounting:
- 5a: Insert the luminaire into the prepared ceiling opening. Ensure it is securely seated.
- 5b: For multiple luminaires, connect them in series or parallel as required by the application, using the appropriate connectors (1x, 2x, 3x, nx).
- Securing the Luminaire: Once positioned, secure the luminaire by ensuring the clips engage with an audible "click".
- Adjusting the Angle: The luminaire can be tilted up to 90 degrees for directional lighting if needed.
- Power On: After all connections are made and the luminaire is securely installed, switch the power ON.
- Recessed Installation: For recessed mounting, the luminaire is inserted into the ceiling opening.
- Suspended Ceiling Installation: The luminaire can be installed in suspended ceilings by placing it into the grid.
- Suspension Kit: An optional suspension kit (EAN 4058075402928) is available for hanging the luminaire.
Mounting Accessories
Various mounting accessories are available to suit different installation requirements:
- Suspension Kit: (EAN 4058075402928) For suspending the luminaire.
- Recessed Mount Clips Value: (EAN 4058075409859) For easy recessed installation. Requires 4x clips for 600mm panels and 8x clips for 625mm panels. Specific dimensions for mounting clips are provided (~3.5mm, ~8.8mm, ~4.2mm, ~10.3mm).
- Surface Mount Kits: Available for both 600mm (EAN 4058075472914 white, 4058075834330 black) and 625mm (EAN 4058075402938 white, 4058075834354 black) panels. Also available in H70 value versions (PL 600 EAN 4058075402843, PL 625 EAN 4058075402867).
- Recessed Mount Frame: Available for 600mm (EAN 4058075402881) and 625mm (EAN 4058075402904) panels. Dimensions for 600mm panels are 575mm cutout, and for 625mm panels are 600mm cutout. Frame dimensions are approximately 613/638mm.

The luminaires are compatible with DR ZB NF P 45W systems and feature ZB DIM functionality. They are certified by TÜV Rheinland for safety and type approval.
