Getting Started

Thank you for choosing the POCO X4 Pro 5G.

To turn on the device, long-press the power button. Follow the on-screen instructions to configure your device.

MIUI (for POCO)

The POCO X4 Pro 5G comes pre-installed with MIUI (for POCO), a customized Android-based OS. It offers frequent updates and user-friendly features based on feedback from over 200 million active users worldwide.

SIM Card Tray

The device supports Dual SIM cards with no carrier restrictions and dual 5G connectivity.

It features Dual Nano-SIM card slots, allowing either card to be set as the primary card.

The device supports Dual SIM 5G/4G/3G/2G and Dual SIM VoLTE.

Note 1: 5G connection availability depends on country, carrier, and user environment.

Note 2: VoLTE availability depends on the carrier's network and related service deployment.

Please do not insert non-standard SIM cards into the SIM card slot, as they may cause damage.

Usage Guidelines

  • Use of unauthorized cables, power adapters, or batteries can cause fire, explosion, or other risks.
  • Use only authorized accessories compatible with your device.
  • The device's operating temperature range is 0°C to 40°C. Using it outside this range may damage the device.
  • If your device has a built-in battery, do not attempt to replace it yourself to avoid damage.
  • Charge only with the included or authorized cable and power adapter. Using others may cause fire, electric shock, or damage.
  • After charging, disconnect the adapter from the device and the power outlet. Do not charge for more than 12 hours.
  • The battery must be recycled or disposed of separately from household waste. Mishandling may cause fire or explosion. Dispose of or recycle the device, battery, and accessories according to local regulations.
  • Do not disassemble, hit, crush, or burn the battery. Stop using immediately if deformed or damaged.
  • Do not short circuit the battery, as this may cause overheating, burns, or injury.
  • Do not place the battery in high-temperature environments; overheating may cause explosion.
  • User shall not remove or alter the battery. Removal or repair must be done by an authorized repair center.
  • Keep your device dry.

Safety Precautions

  • Do not attempt to repair the device yourself. Contact Mi customer support or an authorized repair center for issues.
  • Connect other devices according to their manuals. Do not connect incompatible devices.
  • For AC/DC adapters, the socket-outlet must be installed near the equipment and easily accessible.
  • Observe all applicable laws and rules restricting mobile phone use in specific situations and environments.
  • Do not use your phone at petrol stations, in explosive atmospheres, or potentially explosive environments (e.g., fueling areas, below decks on boats, fuel/chemical storage). Obey signs to turn off wireless devices in such areas.
  • Do not use your phone in hospital operating rooms, emergency rooms, or intensive care units. Comply with all hospital rules. If you have a medical device, consult your doctor and the manufacturer regarding potential interference. Maintain a minimum distance of 15 cm between your phone and a pacemaker, using the ear opposite the pacemaker and not carrying it in a breast pocket. Avoid using near hearing aids, cochlear implants, or similar devices.
  • Observe aircraft safety regulations and turn off your phone on board aircraft when required.
  • When driving, use your phone in accordance with traffic laws and regulations.
  • To avoid being struck by lightning, do not use your phone outdoors during thunderstorms.
  • Do not make calls while charging.
  • Do not use your phone in places with high humidity (e.g., bathrooms), as this may result in electric shock, injury, fire, or charger damage.

RF Exposure Information (SAR)

This device complies with Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) limits for general population/uncontrolled exposure (Localized 10-gram SAR for head and trunk, limit: 2.0W/kg) as specified in Council Recommendation 1999/519/EC, ICNIRP Guidelines, and RED (Directive 2014/53/EU).

During SAR testing, the device transmitted at its highest certified power level in all tested frequency bands and was placed in positions simulating RF exposure against the head (no separation) and near the body (5 mm separation).

SAR compliance for body operation is based on a 5 mm separation distance. Carry the device at least 5 mm away from the body. When attaching near the body, use a belt clip or holster without metallic components, maintaining at least 5 mm separation. RF exposure compliance with body-worn accessories containing metal has not been tested or certified and should be avoided.

This radio communication equipment has a specific absorption rate (SAR) of 0.596 W/kg, complying with the Safety Standard for the Use of Radio communication Equipment on Human Health announced by the National Telecommunications Commission.

Restrictions in the 5150 to 5350 MHz frequency range: This device is restricted to indoor use only in the following countries: AT, BE, BG, HR, CY, CZ, DK, EE, FI, FR, DE, EL, HU, IE, IT, LV, LT, LU, MT, NL, PL, PT, RO, SK, SI, ES, SE, UK(NI), IS, LI, NO, CH, TR.

Restrictions in the 2.4 GHz band: Norway: This subsection does not apply for the geographical area within a radius of 20 km from the centre of Ny-Ålesund.

Ensure the power adapter used meets the requirements of Clause 6.4.5 in IEC/EN 62368-1 and has been tested and approved according to national or local standards.

FCC Regulations

This mobile phone complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to two conditions: (1) it may not cause harmful interference, and (2) it must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation.
