Getting Started

Battery Installation

Ensure the unit is turned off before fitting or replacing batteries. Use the supplied screwdriver to remove the battery cover screws. Carefully remove old batteries and insert new ones, observing correct polarity. Ensure a good seal on the battery cover for optimal weatherproofing before refitting the screws.

Battery Requirements

The RX+ Micron requires 2 x LR6 AA 1.5V Alkaline batteries. Using high-quality batteries is recommended for maximum battery life. Avoid mixing old and new batteries, different battery types, and do not use rechargeable batteries. Remove batteries if the unit will not be used for an extended period.

Switching On/Off

The RX+ Micron features an On/Off toggle switch with two operational modes: DAY and NIGHT. The unit does not beep when switched on or off. A hard case cover is provided; ensure the unit is switched off before fitting it.

Advanced Functions

Multi Colour LEDs with Colour Sync™

Select from six LED colors (Red, Green, Blue, Orange, Purple & White) with a single button press. Your color choice is stored in memory and synchronized with the RX+ Receiver. LEDs illuminate upon power-on and when triggered, staying on or flashing for 10 seconds based on line movement.

Vari-Bright Adjustable Brightness

Adjust LED brightness with three settings for both DAY and NIGHT modes using a dedicated button. These settings are also stored in memory.

Controls and Operation

Volume, Tone, and Sensitivity

Adjust volume and tone using indexed ergonomic controls. The Sensitivity Control features an intelligent system with 'See-Saw Elimination' to reduce false triggering from environmental factors. Eight sensitivity settings are available, with specific line travel distances required for triggering at each level. Refer to the sensitivity table for details.

Radio Compatibility

The RX+ Micron is exclusively compatible with the Fox RX+ Receiver, supporting up to eight RX+ Microns simultaneously. For more information, visit the Fox website or consult the RX+ Receiver manual.

Range Test

Activate the range test by switching the alarm off and on again within one second. The alarm transmits a test signal, indicated by flashing LEDs. Walk away with the receiver to test signal reception. The test mode auto-cancels after approximately five minutes, upon triggering, or when the unit is switched off.

Important Warnings and Care

• Avoid triggering LEDs or speakers near human or animal eyes and ears.
• Keep the equipment out of reach of children.
• Avoid dropping or subjecting the Micron to severe impacts.
• Use only recommended batteries and accessories.
• After heavy rain, allow the unit to dry indoors and remove the hard case cover.
• Never place batteries in a hot environment.

Compression Washers

The RX+ Micron includes two styles of compression washers for optimal angling. Follow the provided diagrams for assembly and adjustment to achieve the desired angle for attaching the alarm to your mount.
