Low Battery Warning
When batteries are low, the LEDs will flash red every 2 seconds until new batteries are inserted. The LED color will revert to the last chosen color. There is no audible low battery warning. The receiver displays battery life upon being turned on:
- 4x Green LEDs: Full Charge
- 3x Green LEDs: Good Charge
- 2x Amber LEDs: Running Low
- 1x Red LED: Replace Batteries
If volume or LED performance decreases, change the batteries. Remove batteries during long periods of non-use.
Best Performance
Optimal range is dependent on conditions. To achieve best performance:
- Keep the receiver as high above ground as possible.
- Maintain a direct line-of-sight between the receiver and transmitter.
- Do not keep the receiver in the same pocket as a mobile phone or other electronic device.
- Ensure both receiver and alarms have good batteries.
Use the system responsibly. The Mini Micron X Receiver is designed for long range to maximize reliability at close range, not to encourage users to leave rods unattended.
Battery Requirements
The Mini Micron Receiver requires 2 x LR03 AAA 1.5V Alkaline batteries. Use good quality batteries for maximum life. To reduce the risk of battery leakage:
- DO NOT mix old and new batteries.
- DO NOT mix different battery types.
- Rechargeable batteries are NOT recommended.
Remove batteries if the receiver will not be used for extended periods.
Warnings
- DO NOT trigger LED or speaker near human or animal eyes and ears.
- Store out of reach of children and infants.
- Avoid dropping or subjecting the Micron to severe impacts.
- Use only recommended batteries and accessories.
