Sockets
Power Out Socket
This socket allows Fox Illuminated Bite Indicators to be powered directly from the Micron. The indicator lights up when the Micron is activated and stays lit for approximately 20 seconds.
Ensure rubber seals are in place when sockets are not in use.
Compatibility (I-COM™)
The MX Micron features an advanced, long-range transmitter, compatible exclusively with the Fox MX receiver. Up to four MX Microns can be used simultaneously with one MX Receiver.
Note: Operates exclusively with the MX Receiver. Not compatible with older Fox receivers or extension boxes.
Battery Requirements
The Microns require two LR03 AAA 1.5V Alkaline batteries. High-quality batteries are essential for maximum battery life. To prevent leakage:
- Do not mix old and new batteries.
- Do not mix different battery types.
- Rechargeable batteries are not recommended.
If sound volume or LED performance diminishes, replace batteries. Remove batteries if the Micron will not be used for extended periods.
Controls
Volume & Tone Control
Turn the respective knobs clockwise to increase settings and anti-clockwise to decrease them. There are eight distinct volume and tone settings.
Minimum setting | Maximum setting
Multi-colour LED Control
Press the rubber button to cycle through the LED colours on the MX heads. Choose from six colours: Red, Green, Blue, Orange, Purple, and White.
Low Battery Warning
When MX Micron batteries are low, the multi-colour LEDs automatically switch to cyan (green-blue). They remain this colour until new batteries are inserted. After replacement, the LED colour reverts to the last selected setting. The MX Micron does not provide an audible low battery alert.
Safety Warnings
- Do not activate LEDs or the speaker near human or animal eyes or ears.
- Keep this equipment out of reach of children.
- Avoid dropping or subjecting the Micron to severe impacts.
Drying After Heavy Rain Use
Microns are designed to be weatherproof. However, after use in heavy rain, it is important to dry the unit thoroughly indoors, removing the protective cover.
Caution: Never place batteries in a hot environment (e.g., on a radiator).
