Presentation

The Taramps X PRO 234 crossover is designed for fine-tuning audio details with frequency filtering, bass/mid/treble equalization, and volume control, delivering peak performance. It features a built-in player with multiple connection options: Bluetooth, USB, memory card, and front auxiliary (P2) input, enabling playback from various sources. An optical input is also included, ideal for connecting to TVs.

With a 1U rack height (44.45 mm), the X PRO 234 is auto-voltage (90V-240V) and uses a switching power supply for higher energy efficiency. The unit is turned on/off via the front panel switch. For prolonged periods of non-use, unplugging the unit is recommended. The product uses a plug according to the Brazilian NBR 14136 standard; a compatible adapter may be needed for other regions.

Audio Sources

The X PRO 234 crossover offers the following audio input options:

  1. USB: For USB flash drives (requires MP3 files, max 64GB storage).
  2. Micro SD Card: For Micro SD cards (requires MP3 files, max 64GB storage).
  3. AUX (front): Standard P2 auxiliary input.
  4. Bluetooth: Wireless audio streaming.
  5. FM Radio: Built-in FM tuner.
  6. Optical Input: For digital audio sources.
  7. XLR Input: Balanced audio input.

Note: Using antivirus protection for USB/Micro SD cards is strongly recommended to prevent malfunctions. Do not use the USB input to connect to computers or charge devices.

  • 14 – CLIP OUT CH1: Indicator light that flashes when CH1 output signal reaches 8V RMS (start of clipping).
  • 15 – VOLUME CH2: Adjusts CH2 output volume. Functions similarly to CH1.
  • 16 – CLIP OUT CH2: Indicator light that flashes when CH2 output signal reaches 8V RMS.
  • 17 – VOLUME CH3: Adjusts CH3 output volume.
    • In MONO mode: Receives signal from balanced input A.
    • In STEREO mode: Also receives from input A.
    • With player or optical input: CH3 outputs the right channel.
  • 18 – CLIP OUT CH3: Indicator light that flashes when CH3 output signal reaches 8V RMS.
  • 19 – VOLUME CH4: Adjusts CH4 output volume.
    • Always outputs balanced input B signal.
    • With player or optical input: CH4 outputs the left channel.
  • 20 – CLIP OUT CH4: Indicator light that flashes when CH4 output signal reaches 8V RMS.
