SAFETY
- The installation of DC power sources in a boat must be handled by a qualified electrician.
- Make sure to connect power to the suitable voltage socket.
- No electrical devices are to be used inside the product.
- The product can be powered on only after being unpacked and put on a flat level surface for over 6 hours.
- Fridge operating angle: The fridge can be operated indefinitely at up to 5 degrees, and can be operated at between 6 and 45 degrees for up to 30 mins.
- Product must be well ventilated. Ensure there is a minimum of 200 mm clearance at the back, and 100 mm around the sides.
- The product should be in a well-ventilated space, away from heat sources. Try to avoid direct exposure to sunlight.
- Keep product stable.
- When there is water inside the tank, do not turn the product upside down to empty. Dry the water, do not soak in water.
- Do not put metal in the air inlet vent, outlet vent, or gap.
- Do not connect to other power except 12V/24VDC, or the 240VAC to 12VDC adapter.
- Do not soak the product in water or wash with water.
- The product should not be repaired. If there is any issues please consult the place of purchase.
- Turn off the product before cleaning to avoid electric shocks or other issues.
- Keep product away from wet or humid places.
COMPONENTS
The main components of the Brass Monkey GH-2006 Fridge/Freezer are:
- Door latch: Secures the lid of the fridge.
- Sealing ring: Ensures an airtight seal for efficient cooling.
- Refrigerator or freezer zone: The main compartment, which can be set to function as either a refrigerator or a freezer.
- Refrigerator zone: A separate compartment that can be used as a refrigerator.

- Radiator: Dissipates heat from the compressor.
- DC socket: For connecting to a 12V or 24V DC power source.
- Display screen: Shows temperature and operational status.

OPERATION
The control panel allows for various operations:
- Power on and off: Long press the Power switch button for 3 seconds to start or shut down the fridge.
- Temperature adjustment: Touch the '+' or '-' buttons to adjust the temperature. The range is from -20°C to +20°C. After 3 seconds of inactivity, the display stops flashing, exits temperature setting, and maintains the set temperature, then displays the real-time temperature inside the box.
- Fast cooling/energy saving mode: In the unlocked state, touch the 'Setting' button to switch between MAX (fast cooling) and ECO (energy saving) modes.
- Lock/unlock screen: The operation panel automatically locks after 10 seconds of inactivity. The screen displays 'A'. Press any button in the lock screen state, and 'A' will flash. Long press the unlock button for 2 seconds to unlock the screen.
- USB charging port: Provides 5V, 2.1A for charging digital devices like mobile phones and tablets.
USING IN CAR
The product features a three-level battery protection function to ensure normal operation and protect the vehicle's battery. To set the protection level:
- In the power-on state, long press the 'SET' button for 3 seconds. The display screen will flash 'H'.
- Select the low voltage protection level (L, M, or H) by clicking the 'SET' button. The factory default is set to 'H' protection.
Recommendations for setting battery protection:
- Set to 'H' when the product is connected to car power.
- Set to 'M' or 'L' when connected to a portable battery or other back-up battery.
If voltage protection code 'F1' is displayed due to varying vehicle output voltages, adjust the battery gear from 'H' to 'M' or 'M' to 'L'. If the product needs to continue working after the car engine is turned off, set the battery gear to 'H' to prevent draining the car battery.
SMART CONTROL FRIDGE APP APPLICATION INSTRUCTION
Downloading the "BRASS MONKEY FRIDGE" Application
- Scan the QR code provided in the manual or on the carton using a QR reader app on your smart device, or search for the "BRASS MONKEY FRIDGE" APP in the iTunes App Store (for Apple devices) or Google Play Store (for Android devices).
- Start the application and select the "Search" function.
- The application will prompt you to pair the fridge by pressing the 'Set' button on the fridge's control panel. Once the 'Set' button is activated, the fridge will be paired with your smart device. The application will then switch to a control panel, allowing you to manage the fridge's functions.
The app interface allows for:
- Power ON/OFF: Control the power status of the fridge.
- Temperature Display: View the current temperature of the L-Box (Left Box) and R-Box (Right Box).
- °C/°F settings: Switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit temperature units.
- Temperature Setting: Adjust the desired temperature for each box.
- Fast cooling mode: Select between MAX (fast cooling) and ECO (energy saving) modes.
- Advanced settings: Access additional settings.
- Battery protection settings: Choose between Low (L 9.0V), Medium (M 11.5V), and High (H 12.0V) voltage protection levels.
CLEANING & MAINTENANCE
- Do not wash the product with water or soak it.
- Please disconnect from power before cleaning to avoid electrical shock.
- Clean the product with a soft, damp cloth.
If the product will not be used for an extended period:
- Turn it off and disconnect from power.
- Remove all contents (food, drinks, etc.).
- Store it in a dry place, away from wet or humid conditions.
TROUBLESHOOTING
- The product is not working: Check the power supply, ensure the cable is functional, verify the plug and socket connections, check the fuse, and confirm the power switch on the control panel is on. Note that the compressor has a 3-minute delay protection after turning on.
- Food inside the product is frozen: The temperature is set too low.
- Water flowing sound inside the tank: This is normal; it is the refrigerant flowing.
- Water drops around the case or door gap: This is condensation, which occurs when moisture in the air meets the cold surface. Wipe with a towel or soft cloth.
- Code F1 displayed: Low voltage protection. Adjust the battery protection setting from H to M or M to L.
- Code F2 displayed: Fan overload protection. Turn off the product for 30 minutes and restart. If the issue persists, contact the place of purchase.
- Code F3 displayed: Compressor frequent start protection. Turn off the product for 30 minutes and restart. If the issue persists, contact the place of purchase.
- Code F4 displayed: Compressor overload or low-speed operation. Turn off the product for 30 minutes and restart. If the issue persists, contact the place of purchase.
- Code F5 displayed: High temperature compressor module protection. Move the product to a ventilated area, turn it off for 30 minutes, then restart. If the issue persists, contact the place of purchase.
- Code F6 displayed: Controller cannot detect parameters. Restart the product. If the issue persists, contact the place of purchase.
- Code F7 / F8 displayed: Temperature sensor error. Check the sensor terminal.
WARRANTY
The warranty for this product is 3 years from the date of purchase. The warranty does not cover:
- Intentional damage.
- Damage caused by fire, flood, or similar events.
- Damage or malfunction resulting from incorrect usage or failure to follow this user manual.
- Damage or malfunction caused by disassembly of the product.
