- Do not use this product on elevated surfaces without barriers, such as attic floors, open terraces, slides, or furniture surfaces.
- To prevent potential damage, keep hair, loose clothing, fingers, and all parts of the body of people and pets away from seams, openings, and moving parts of the product.
- Do not use the product in a room where an infant or child is sleeping.
- Do not carry the robot using the magnetic top cover, robotic arm, charging port, side brush, or bumper. Do not move the dock by lifting the dock base, water tank handle, or dustbin cover.
- Do not use the dock to pick up stones, paper scraps, or other items that could block the air vents.
- Do not use the robot for cleaning, the robotic arm for picking up, or the dock with a vacuum cleaner for any flammable or smoking items such as cigarettes, matches, hot ash, or any flammable or explosive items such as lighters, gasoline, or toner used in printers or photocopiers.
- Place the dock on a solid, flat floor. Keep the dock, robot, and power cord away from fire and heat sources such as heating radiators. Avoid damp and narrow spaces or locations where the robot might be suspended in the air.
- Do not place any objects on top of the robot or dock, near the dock's suction inlet, or cover them with any item (including a dust cover).
- Do not use without the dust bag.
- Always use the appliance in well-ventilated areas to prevent overheating.
- Roborock disclaims all liability for indirect, punitive, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use, misuse, or inability to use this product. This disclaimer does not affect any statutory rights that may not be disclaimed under applicable law.
- Do not wash the robot and dock.
- Do not force the robotic arm if it is not an emergency, or the robot may be damaged.
- Do not disassemble the robotic arm unless advised by customer service, otherwise the robot may be damaged.
- To prevent pinching, do not place hands, body, pets, or any objects near the charging port when it is opening or closing.
- Do not force the charging port open or press to close, as this may cause damage.
- To prevent burns, do not touch the clean water dispensers or air drying outlets.
Battery and Charging
Warnings
- To reduce the risk of electric shock, always use a properly grounded power source. If such an outlet is not available, consult an electrician to locate one.
- Ensure the power voltage meets the requirements specified on the dock.
- To prevent smoke, heat, or fire, use only the battery, charger, power cord, dock, and accessories provided with the product.
- Do not use the product with any type of power adapter, as this may pose a hazard and void the warranty.
- Do not dispose of used batteries. Hand them over to a professional recycling organization.
- If the dock is located in an area with thunderstorms or unstable voltage, take protective measures.
- If the product is not used for a long time, store it in a cool, dry place after fully charging, powering off, and unplugging.
Precautions
- Charge it at least once every three months to prevent excessive battery discharge.
- For transporting the product, ensure the dock is powered off, the robot is powered off, and the water tanks are emptied. Additionally, drain and wash the cleaning solution cartridge, air dry it, and then reinstall it. Using the original packaging is recommended.
Installation
Important Information
- Clear the floor of cords, solid or sharp objects (e.g., nails, glass), and loose items. Also, move unstable, fragile, valuable, or dangerous items (e.g., balls, scissors, knives, electrical appliances, medications, toxic substances, glass, porcelain, liquid-filled containers, lit candles) to prevent damage or injury caused by entanglement, impact, dragging, tipping, lifting, or dropping by the robot.
- When using the robot on an elevated surface (e.g., a duplex apartment), always use a physical protective barrier to prevent personal injury or property damage caused by the accidental fall of an item picked up by the robot or robotic arm.
Notes
- When using the robot for the first time, follow it throughout the entire cleaning route and observe for potential issues. The robot will be able to clean independently in the future.
- To prevent excessive dirt buildup on the mopping cloths, the floor should be vacuumed at least three times before the first mopping cleaning cycle.
Dock Placement Notes
- If the power cord hangs vertically to the floor, the robot may get stuck, which could cause the dock to move or disconnect.
- The status indicator light is on when the dock is powered and turns off when the robot is charging. The status indicator light turns red if an error occurs.
- Place the dock on a solid, flat floor, away from fire, heat, and water. Avoid narrow spaces or locations where the robot might be suspended in the air.
- Placing the dock on a soft surface (carpet/rug) may cause the dock to tilt and lead to problems with dock connection and departure.
- Keep the dock away from direct sunlight or any item that might block the dock's positioning beacon; otherwise, the robot may not be able to return to the dock.
- Do not use the dock without the clean water tank, dirty water tank, dust container cover, disposable dust bag, cleaning solution cartridge, or cleaning tray module.
- Perform routine maintenance on the dock. Do not clean the dock's power cord and charging contacts with a wet cloth or tissue.
- All docks undergo water-based tests before leaving the factory. It is normal for a small amount of water to remain in the dock's water channels.
Operation
Turning On and Charging
To turn on the robot, press and hold the power button. Wait until the power indicator lights up steadily, then place the robot on the dock. Ensure the dock is plugged in. Then, press the button, and the robot will automatically return to the dock to charge. The robot is equipped with a built-in high-quality lithium-ion rechargeable battery. To maintain battery performance, the robot must be kept charged.
Dock status indicator light is off, robot power indicator light is breathing: Charging.
Notes
- The robot may not turn on when the battery is low. In this case, place the robot on the dock to charge.
- To ensure the robot automatically returns to the dock, turn on the robot from the dock and do not move the dock during cleaning.
- Cleaning may not start if the battery level is too low. Allow the robot to charge before starting cleaning.
- Before cleaning, tidy up cables (including the dock's power cord) and valuable items from the floor. The robot may flip loose items, which could cause electrical appliances to trip or damage cables and property.
- If cleaning finishes in less than 10 minutes, the robot will clean the area twice.
- If the battery empties during a cleaning cycle, the robot will automatically return to the dock. After charging, the robot will resume work from where it left off.
- The robot will retract the mop holders to clean carpets. To prevent this, you can set the carpet as a no-go zone in the app.
- Before starting each cleaning task, ensure the mopping cloths are installed correctly.
Charging
After cleaning, the robot will automatically return to the dock to charge. Press the button to return a paused robot to the dock. The power indicator light will illuminate while the robot is charging.
Note: If the robot cannot find the dock, it will automatically return to its starting position. Manually place the robot on the dock for charging.
Routine Maintenance
Before cleaning or performing maintenance on the dock and robot, the dock must be unplugged from the power source, and the robot must be powered off with its robotic arm retracted into its compartment.
The frequency of replacement may vary depending on the actual situation. If unusual wear occurs, replace parts immediately.
Charging Contacts
* Clean as needed.
Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the charging contacts of the robot and dock.
