Wearing the Headset

Adjusting the Headset

Adjust the headband so the headset fits comfortably on your head.

Microphone Boom Arm Placement

Rotate the microphone boom arm down or up in one smooth motion. When using the microphone, position the end of the boom arm close to your mouth.

Folding for Storage

You can fold the earcups to easily store the headphones in the carrying case.

Charging

The headset can be charged using the optional charging cradle or by connecting a USB cable directly to the headset. A full charge takes approximately 2 hours and 20 minutes, providing up to 37 hours of battery life. A 15-minute charge can provide up to 8 hours of usage.

Charging with the Charging Cradle (Optional Accessory)

Connect the charging cradle to a USB port on your computer using the included USB cable and place the headset in the cradle. The status light on the headset will flash briefly to indicate it is correctly placed. The battery light will then flash green, yellow, or red to show charging status. A solid green light indicates a full charge.

Charging with the USB Cable

Connect the included USB cable to the USB-C port on the left earcup and to a free USB port on your computer. While the Jabra-provided cable is recommended, a compatible charger can also be used.

Sleep Mode

When the headset is on but not worn, it automatically enters sleep mode after 8 hours to conserve battery. Press any button to exit sleep mode. After 24 hours in sleep mode, the headset will turn off completely. To turn it back on, slide the On/Off switch to Off and then back to On. The sleep mode timer can be adjusted in the Jabra Sound+ app or Jabra Direct.

Sound Modes (Left Earcup)

On-Ear Detection

The headset has integrated sensors that detect when it is being worn. This enables features like automatic music pausing when the headset is removed and automatic call muting. Removing the headset while listening to music will pause it; putting it back on will resume playback. Removing the headset during a call will mute the call; putting it back on will unmute it. Head detection and its individual actions can be configured via the Jabra Sound+ app or Jabra Direct.

Busylights

The busylights turn red automatically when you are in a call, indicating you should not be disturbed. To manually turn the busylights on or off, simultaneously press the Volume up and Volume down buttons. Busylights only activate when the headset is worn. Busylight settings can be configured via the Jabra Sound+ app or Jabra Direct.

Active Noise Cancellation (ANC)

ANC eliminates background noise by generating an anti-signal. Press the Sound Modes button to cycle through Sound modes until ANC is announced to enable it.

HearThrough™

HearThrough uses the integrated microphones to allow you to listen to your surroundings and participate in conversations without removing your headset. Press the Sound Modes button to cycle through Sound modes until HearThrough is announced to enable it. HearThrough settings can be configured via the Jabra Sound+ app or Jabra Direct.

Muting On/Off Using the Microphone Boom Arm

The microphone mute function can be toggled by flipping the microphone boom arm up (mute) or down (unmute). This function can be enabled or disabled in the Jabra Sound+ app or Jabra Direct.

Answering Calls Using the Microphone Boom Arm

An incoming call can be answered by moving the microphone boom arm down. This feature is enabled by default and can be disabled in the Jabra Sound+ app or Jabra Direct.

Multiuse

The headset can be paired with up to eight Bluetooth devices and connected to two Bluetooth devices simultaneously (e.g., the Jabra Link 380/390 and a smartphone, or two smartphones). The headset can accept multiple incoming calls from both devices. To pair two Bluetooth devices, follow the usual pairing procedure for each device separately. The voice assistant will activate on the last paired Bluetooth device.

You can enable or disable voice guidance using the Jabra Sound+ app or Jabra Direct. For the latest list of supported languages, refer to Jabra Sound+ or Jabra Direct. To enable/disable voice guidance, press and hold the Voice button and the Volume up button for 5 seconds until you hear an announcement in the headset.

Resetting the Headset

Resetting the headset erases the list of paired devices and all settings. Ensure the headset is powered on and not on a call. Then, simultaneously press and hold the Multi-function button and the Volume up button for 3 seconds, until the indicator light turns pink and you hear an announcement in the headset.
