Mounting Instructions:

The DRO system offers flexible mounting options for various machines. Ensure the scale and sensor are mounted to stationary parts of the machine. The sensor's travel direction and the scale must align with the arrow and '+' sign indicated on the sensor decal.

Identify suitable locations for the Scale Beam Bracket and Moving Sensor Bracket. Use the provided M3 drill, tap, and screws to securely mount the DRO System components.

Mount the DRO Display on the Cutter Head Surface or a preferred location using the provided M3 drill, tap, and screws, or VHB Double Side Tapes.

Utilize the provided Wire Clips to manage and secure the DRO Connection Cable and/or Power Cable, ensuring they do not interfere with machine movement.

Operating Instructions:

Power On/Off: Short press the power button on the DRO Display.

Unit Selection: Short press the 'Mode' button to cycle through decimal inch, fractional inch, or millimeter (mm) readings.

Setting Preset Values: Long press the 'Set' button (3 seconds) to enter preset mode. 'CAL' will blink. Long press 'Set' again to begin setting the value, starting with the first digit. Short press 'Set' to change the digit's value. Long press 'Set' to move to the next digit. Repeat until all digits are set. Long press 'Set' again to return to the blinking 'CAL' state. Short press 'Set' to save and exit. Preset values can only be set in inch decimal and metric decimal modes.

Calibration: After setting a preset value, move the planer to the reference height. Long press the 'Set' key until 'CAL' blinks. The display should show the saved preset value. Short press 'Set' to finalize calibration. 'CAL' will stop blinking.

Zeroing the DRO: Short press the 'Cal/0' button to zero the DRO. This button also allows switching between calibrated readings and incremental/temporary zero readings. Short press 'Cal/0' to display 'INC' for incremental zero setting. Short press 'Cal/0' again to return to the calibrated measurement reading, displaying 'CAL'.

Battery / AC Power:

To replace the battery, pull the battery holder from the left side of the Display, ensuring the '-' terminal faces up/out. The CR2450 battery is recommended for longer capacity and is not interchangeable with the CR2032. The DRO can also be powered via the included USB cable and AC adapter plugged into an electrical outlet.
