Important Safety Information
Read the following instructions carefully and ensure your gas stove is properly installed, assembled, and cared for. Failure to comply may result in serious personal injury and/or property damage. If you have questions, consult your dealer or LPG Gas Company.
- The LP gas cylinder used must not exceed 20 lb. (9.1 kg) capacity (approx. 18" / 45.7cm high and 12" / 30.5cm diameter).
- This appliance is suitable for use with Liquid Propane (LP), fitted with an appropriate low-pressure regulator via a flexible hose.
- The hose should be secured to the regulator and appliance with hose clips [Hose Clip Symbol]. Ensure the flexible hose does not contact hot surfaces and avoid twisting. Consult your LPG dealer for regulator information.
Regulator and Hose:
- Use only regulators and hoses approved for LP Gas at the specified pressures.
- Regulator life expectancy is estimated at 2 years. Use of the wrong regulator or hose is unsafe.
- Hose must conform to relevant standards and local codes. Worn or damaged hose must be replaced.
- Ensure the hose is not obstructed, kinked, or in contact with any part of the product other than its connection.
- Flexible hose length shall not exceed 1.5m.
Storage of Appliance:
- Storage indoors is only permissible if the cylinder is disconnected and removed.
- When not in use for a period, store in original packaging in a dry, dust-free environment.
Gas Cylinder:
- Do not drop or handle gas cylinders roughly.
- If the appliance is not in use, the cylinder must be disconnected. Replace the protective cap on the cylinder.
- Always connect or replace the cylinder in a well-ventilated area, away from ignition sources (flames, sparks, heat). DO NOT SMOKE.
- Cylinders must be stored outdoors, upright, and out of reach of children.
- Cylinders must never be stored where temperatures exceed 50°C (122°F).
- Do not store cylinders near flames, pilot lights, or other ignition sources.
- Ensure the gas cylinder compartment (if any) is not obstructed, keep it ventilated and clean.
- Parts sealed by the manufacturer must not be altered by the user.
- Only one gas cylinder may be attached at a time.
- Do not fill the gas cylinder beyond 80% capacity.
- No modifications should be made to any part of this product. Repairs and maintenance should only be carried out by a qualified registered person [Service Engineer Symbol].
Connection to Appliance:
- Loose connections can lead to a fire beneath the appliance.
- Clean burner holes with a heavy-duty pipe cleaner.
- Fit the hose to the appliance using a spanner [Spanner Symbol] to tighten it onto the connection thread.
- If the hose is replaced, it must be secured with hose clips [Hose Clip Symbol].
- Disconnect the regulator from the cylinder when the barbecue is not in use.
- The product must be used in a well-ventilated area.
- Do not obstruct the flow of combustion air to the burner.
Before Use Check for Leaks:
Never check for leaks with a naked flame. Always use a soapy water solution [Bubbles Symbol ?].
To Check for Leaks:
- Mix 2-3 fluid ounces of leak detecting solution (one part washing up liquid to 3 parts water).
- Ensure the control valve is "OFF" [OFF Symbol ?].
- Connect the regulator to the cylinder and the ON/OFF valve to the burner. Ensure connections are secure, then turn ON the gas.
- Brush the soapy solution onto the hose and all joints.
- If bubbles appear, you have a leak that must be rectified before use. Retest after fixing.
- Turn OFF the gas at the cylinder after testing.
- If leakage is detected and cannot be rectified, do not attempt to cure it; consult your gas dealer.
Gas Stove User Guide
- Before attempting to ignite, fill the insulation tank with water first (refer to the water level line [Water Level Symbol]). Maintain water level in the pan throughout the day; check at least once every 2 hours.
- Turn all control knobs clockwise to the "OFF" [OFF Symbol ?] position.
- Connect the regulator to the gas bottle [Gas Cylinder Symbol ⛽]. Turn the gas supply "ON" at the regulator. Check for gas leakage between the bottle and regulator using soapy water [Bubbles Symbol ?].
- Press the knob and rotate it counterclockwise to the [Ignite Symbol] position simultaneously. Observe if the burner ignites. Repeat if necessary.
- If the burner has not lit after retrying, wait 5 minutes and repeat step 4.
- Adjust the heat by turning the knob to the [High Heat Symbol] or [Low Heat Symbol] position. Adjust flame to desired height. Flame should be compact and blue with a slight yellow tip.
- If the burner doesn't light up, light the appliance with a match from the top. Consult your gas dealer for ignition problems.
- After the burner is lit, it can be used normally.
- To turn the product "OFF", turn the cylinder valve or regulator switch to the "OFF" [OFF Symbol ?] position. Also, ensure the control knob on the appliance is turned clockwise to the "OFF" [OFF Symbol ?] position.
- It is recommended to preheat for 10 minutes before adding food.
Water Requirements
VEVOR recommends softening hard water to improve unit life.
- Maximum acceptable water hardness: 60-90 ppm
- Minimum water pH: 7.5 pH
- Chlorides: less than 30 ppm
- Silica: less than 12 ppm (mg/L)
- Free chlorine: less than 0.1 ppm (mg/L)
- Total dissolved solids (TDS): 50-125 ppm
Care & Maintenance
⚠️ Warning: If the burner fails to ignite, turn the control knob off (clockwise) and the cylinder valve off. Wait five minutes before attempting to relight with the ignition sequence.
Clean your product after each USE. DO NOT use abrasive or caustic-based cleaners, as they will damage parts and may start a fire. Clean in warm soapy water [Soap Symbol ?]. When handling hot components, use protective gloves [Glove Symbol ?]. Do not allow the flexible gas supply hose or any electrical cord to contact heated surfaces.
⚠️ Warning: Accessible parts may be very hot. Keep young children away from the hot appliance at all times (even while cooling down!).
Cleaning and Care:
⚠️ CAUTION: All cleaning and maintenance should be done when the product is cool, with the fuel supply turned OFF at the gas cylinder. Turn the gas OFF at the control knob and disconnect the cylinder.
- Remove the stainless steel grill.
- Clean the burner with a soft brush [Brush Symbol ?️] or blow clean with compressed air [Compressed Air Symbol ?], and wipe with a cloth [Cloth Symbol ?].
- Wipe the combustion chamber clean with a rag [Cloth Symbol ?].
- Inspect the burner for any damage (cracks or holes). If damage is found, replace with a new burner.
- Reinstall the burner.
Servicing:
Your outdoor gas stove must be serviced annually by a qualified registered person [Service Engineer Symbol].
Troubleshooting Methods
