Controller Instruction and Layout
Front View
The DAREU H101X controller features a standard gamepad layout. Key components include:
- Select Button (Back-): Located on the left side of the central panel.
- Home Button: Central button with the DAREU logo.
- Start Button (Start+): Located on the right side of the central panel.
- Left Joystick (L3 key when pressed): Located on the upper left.
- Right Joystick (R3 key when pressed): Located on the upper right.
- Direction Pad (D-pad): Cross-shaped pad on the lower left.
- ABXY Function Buttons: Four action buttons on the right (Y at top, X at left, B at right, A at bottom).
- Turbo Key (Burst setting): Small button near the ABXY buttons.
- Screen Shot Button: Small button below the Select button.
- Indicator Lights: Four small lights (0000) located below the Home button, indicating status.

Wired Mode
To connect the controller in wired mode, simply plug and play. The controller is compatible with PC and Switch via USB connection.
Bluetooth (BT) Mode
Connect to Switch
- From the Switch home menu, navigate to System Settings → Airplane Mode → Controller Connection (Bluetooth).
- Return to the Switch home menu, then select Controllers → Change Grip/Order.
- Press the controller's Y + HOME buttons simultaneously. The controller indicator lights 1-4 will cycle, indicating pairing mode.
- The controller will automatically pair with the Switch.
Connect to Smart Phone
- Press the controller's A + HOME buttons simultaneously. Indicator lights 1 & 2 will flash, initiating pairing mode.
- Turn on Bluetooth on your device and search for H101 BT.
- Select H101 BT to pair and use the controller.
Note: If the device is an Android system, this pairing method is recommended.
Connect to PC
- Press the controller's X + HOME buttons simultaneously. Indicator lights 2 & 3 will flash, initiating pairing mode.
- Turn on Bluetooth on your PC and search for Xbox Wireless Controller.
- Select Xbox Wireless Controller to pair and use the controller.
Note: This pairing method offers broader compatibility with systems such as Windows, iOS, Mac, and Android.
Turbo Function
The Turbo function allows for rapid, repeated input of a button press.
Setting Bursts
To set a button for burst fire:
- Press and hold the T button, then press the desired button (A, B, X, Y, LT, LB, RT, RB) you want to set for bursts.
- Each subsequent press of the desired button while holding T will cycle through burst modes:
- First operation: Manual burst
- Second operation: Automatic burst
- Third operation: Cancel burst
TURBO Burst Speed Adjustment
To adjust the speed of the Turbo burst:
- Press and hold the T button, then move the Right Joystick up to increase the burst speed or down to decrease it.
- The speed is divided into three gears: Slow, Standard, and Fast.
- The LED flashing frequency will correspond to the set burst speed.
To clear all Turbo settings, press T + SELECT simultaneously.
Function Instructions
Sleep and Reconnect
In wireless mode, if there is no operation for 15 minutes, the controller will enter a sleep state. To reconnect, press the HOME button.
Low Battery Warning
When the battery power is below 10%, the indicator lights will flash quickly.
Buttons Swapped (Switch Only)
When connected to a Switch, press and hold the ABXY buttons simultaneously for 5 seconds. The channel light will flash, and the A-B and X-Y buttons will be exchanged. This function is only available when connected to a Switch.
Gyroscope Calibration
- With the controller turned off, press SELECT + HOME simultaneously. The indicator lights will flash in pairs.
- Place the controller on a flat, level surface. Press the START button; the LED2 light will illuminate.
- Gently shake both the left and right joysticks twice along their edges. Then, press the START button again; the LED3 light will illuminate, indicating calibration is complete.
Power On/Off
- To power off the controller, press and hold the HOME key for 6 seconds.
- To turn on the controller, press the HOME button for 2 seconds.
- If there is no operation for 15 minutes, the controller will go to sleep. Press the HOME button for 2 seconds to wake it up. The controller also supports Switch host wake-up.
Mode Description
Xinput Mode
Xinput is a Microsoft controller connection protocol standard. When the controller is connected, the computer will recognize it as an Xbox 360 controller, automatically setting the buttons. This mode is suitable for most computer games.
Dinput Mode
Dinput mode requires manual button definition when playing computer games. This mode is suitable for emulator games.
Difference
Under the Windows operating system, the controller is compatible with both Xinput and Dinput modes. Generally, computer games utilize Xinput mode, while emulator games use Dinput mode.
To switch between Xinput and Dinput modes, press the HOME button for 5 seconds.
