Safety Precautions
⚠️ WARNING: Failure to follow these instructions may result in death or serious injury, or fire or electric shock.
DO follow these instructions:
- If you notice any abnormality such as smoke, strange odors, or damage to parts, stop using the unit immediately. Do not operate if it appears damaged. Continuing to use the unit may cause fire or electric shock. If you detect any abnormality, unplug the power cord from the outlet and contact the Blueair Service Center.
- Insert the power plug straight into the outlet until it is fully seated. A loose connection can cause electric shock or fire.
- Use with 100V AC power only. Using with other voltages may cause fire.
- Periodically clean dust from the power plug and outlet. Dust accumulation can lead to poor insulation, causing electric shock or fire.
- When unplugging the power cord, pull the plug itself, not the cord. Pulling the cord can damage the internal wires, leading to short circuits, electric shock, or fire.
- Place the unit in a dry location, ensuring the surroundings are dry before plugging it in. Avoid placing it where it may be exposed to pet urine or steam from kettles, as this can cause fire or electric shock.
- Keep children away from the product to prevent injury or damage.
DO NOT perform these actions:
- DO NOT unplug the power cord by pulling the cord. Pull the plug itself.
- If the unit will not be used for a long period, unplug the power cord. Dust accumulation can lead to poor insulation, causing electric shock or fire.
- When replacing filters, cleaning, or performing maintenance, stop the unit and unplug the power cord. Operating while the unit is powered on may cause electric shock or injury.
- DO NOT force a power plug that does not fit the outlet. This can cause electric shock or malfunction.
- Do not use a power cord other than the one supplied with the unit. This can cause fire, electric shock, or malfunction.
- Do not unplug the power cord while the unit is operating. This can cause fire, electric shock, or malfunction.
- Do not place the power cord or plug near heat sources. This can cause electric shock or fire.
- Do not use the supplied power cord for any other product. This can cause fire, electric shock, or malfunction.
❌ This action is prohibited.
- DO NOT allow children or individuals with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, to use or clean the product without supervision. This can lead to injury or accidents.
- DO NOT strain the power cord or plug (do not cut, damage, bend, pull, twist, place heavy objects on it, bundle it, pinch it, or allow pets to chew on it). Straining the cord can cause electric shock, fire, or short circuits.
- DO NOT use "daisy-chaining" (connecting multiple devices to one outlet) with power strips or extension cords if it exceeds the rated capacity. This can overload the cord and plug, causing electric shock or fire.
- If the power cord is damaged, do not continue to use it or attempt to repair it yourself. Unplug the unit immediately and contact the Blueair Service Center. Continued use can cause electric shock, fire, or short circuits.
- DO NOT insert fingers or foreign objects into the air inlets, outlets, or any gaps in the unit. This can cause electric shock, injury, or malfunction.
- DO NOT place highly flammable items near the unit or power plug, such as: hairspray, insecticides, air fresheners, lit cigarettes or incense, benzine, or thinners. These can cause ignition or electric shock.
- DO NOT use corrosive substances or organic solvents (e.g., benzine, thinners, alcohol, gasoline) for cleaning. This can cause malfunction.
- DO NOT run the power cord under carpets, furniture, or appliances, or cover it with rugs. This can cause fire or malfunction.
- DO NOT disassemble, modify, or repair the unit yourself. The internal components carry high voltage and can cause electric shock or fire.
- DO NOT touch the power plug with wet hands. This can cause electric shock.
- DO NOT splash water on the unit or get it wet. This can cause malfunction, damage, electric shock, injury, or leakage.
- DO NOT install the unit in locations where flammable gases are used or may leak. This can cause ignition or explosion.

Maintenance
Filter Replacement
Important: Before replacing filters, cleaning, or performing any maintenance on the unit, always turn off the power and unplug the power cord from the outlet.
This product uses Blueair's proprietary RealTrack algorithm to automatically calculate the remaining life of the main filter based on actual usage and indoor air quality. When it's time for replacement, the Filter Replacement Indicator Lamp on the operation panel will light up red. Depending on your environment, replacement is recommended approximately every 9-12 months.
For optimal air purification performance, use genuine Blueair filters. Using non-genuine filters may void the warranty in case of malfunction.
