Q: How to pair the radios if I buy more than 2 pack?

A: You will need to send us the full group names (as it appears on the screen after power up) for matching. For example, ct1p010/ct1p011.

This device supports various services of digital trunking radios, including single call, group call, friend group, and group automatic update. It also features late subsequent entry, PTT call right application preemption, PTT call right prompt tone, call making function, and voice broadcast function. The device has a color display screen and offers simple and clear operation.

Ⅰ. Host Description

  1. On/Off knob/Volume knob switch:
    • A: Long press the power on button above the host to start the machine.
    • B: Increase or decrease the volume. Long press the upper left button to increase the volume. Long press the left down key to decrease the volume.
  2. PTT key:
    • A: In standby mode (blue light flashing slowly), press the PTT key to initiate a call (red light on).
    • B: During calling, when receiving voice (the blue light on), press and hold the PTT key to apply for voice rights (the red light is on), and release the PTT key. The radio returns to the standby state (the blue light flashes slowly).
  3. Up key:
    • Short press to select a group, long press to select a user.
    • A: Short press the up key to enter the group selection, with a voice prompt. Press the up or down key again to select the previous or next group. If you press the exit key, you can exit the group selection status. If you press the function key again, you can confirm entering the group.
    • B: Long press the up key for more than 1 second to select members of this group, with a voice prompt. Press the up or down key again to find a member of this group. If you press the exit key, you can exit the status of selecting members of this group. If you press the function key again to confirm entering the single call status, press PTT again to talk to the member. After the call ends, the radio will automatically enter the original group to standby.
  4. Down key:
    • Long press to view group and power.
    • Short press to select a friend.
    • A: Briefly press the down key to enter the buddy group and receive a voice prompt. Then press the up or down key to find a member of the buddy group. If you press the exit key to exit the buddy group status, press the down function key to confirm entering the single calling status of a friend. At this time, press PTT again to talk to the friend.
    • B: Press and hold the down key for more than 1 second to report the current group, power, and other information of the machine.
  5. Keyboard Locks: Long press the return key to lock the machine keyboard, and long press the return key again to unlock.
  6. Menu key: Press the function key to enter:
    1. Group selection.
    2. Member selection. Press the up or down key to select a group or select members of the current group. If you press the exit key, you can exit the group selection or member selection status. If you press the function key once to confirm entry into the group or members of the current group. There are voice prompts and color screen displays during operation.
    3. Display settings: Use the up and down keys to select settings:
      • a Brightness settings
      • b Backlight settings
      • c Keyboard light settings
      • d Menu return time.
    4. Sound settings can be selected:
      • a Mute setting
      • b Key tone setting
      • c Sound scene setting
    5. GPS positioning settings: You can view GPS services and location information.
    6. Local information: You can view:
      • a account information
      • b version information
      • c platform information
  7. Using headphones: Insert the headset and press the PTT button on the headset to initiate a call. Release the PTT button to cancel the call.
  8. Write code: The headset phone brief interface can also be used as a code writing port, and in conjunction with the manufacturer's code writing line, it can set the information (IP address, account name, Password, etc.). To enter the code writing state, press and hold the PTT to power on. At this time, the red light is always on, and the screen is red, displaying the local ID number.
  9. Indicator light description:
    • Host Status

    • Network search status: Green light flashing fast
    • Waiting state: Slow flashing green light (0.5S on, 3.5S off)
    • Initiate call status: Red light on
    • Voice receiving status: Green light on

Ⅱ. Getting Started

  1. Install the SIM card: Before using this machine, insert a valid SIM card (user identification card) into the machine.
  2. Basic use:
    • Turn on: When the machine is turned off, rotate the volume knob/on/off knob clockwise to the full stop. When starting up, there will be a music prompt during the startup process. After successful startup, the blue light first stays on and then flashes. After successfully logging on to the network, a voice prompt will appear: "Welcome to the public network radio."
    • Adjust the volume: Rotate the volume potentiometer to reach the appropriate volume.
    • Select a group (group call): Press the function key to display (1 group selection, 2 member selection). Press the UP or DOWN key again to select a group. If you press the EXIT key, you can exit the group selection status. Press the function key once to confirm entering the group selection status group. If you press the PTT key, you can initiate a call to the group (the red light is on), with voice prompts and color screen display.
    • Select group member (single call): Press the function key to display (1 group selection, 2 member selection). Press the UP or DOWN key again to select a group member. If you press the exit key, you can exit the group member selection status. Press the function key once to confirm entering the single call status of the group member. If you press the PTT key, you can initiate a call to the group member (the red light is on), with voice prompts and color screen display.
    • Answer the phone: After hearing the ringing, you can press the function key to answer the phone. When you hear the other person's voice, press and hold the PTT key to speak out, release the PTT key to answer the other person's voice, which is a simplex call. When the call is over, press the exit key. Of course, after hearing the ringing, the user does not want to answer the phone, but can directly press the exit button to refuse.
    • Making a call: Press the phone number and then press the function key, wait for the other person to pick up the phone, and hear the voice of the other person. If you want to speak to the other person, press and hold the PTT key to speak out, and release the PTT key to answer the other person's voice. This is a simplex call. When the call is over, press the exit key. Of course, if the user does not want to answer the phone after hearing the ringing, he can directly press the exit button to refuse.

    Note:

    1. During the process of answering a call, it will leave the intercom platform and automatically log in to the network platform again after receiving the call.
    2. The IOT card does not support the phone answering function.
    3. The machine needs to enable the phone function during code writing.
