Notes and Cautions

Battery Usage

  • NOTE: If the vacuum does not work after charging, try a new battery. If it still fails, contact a Samsung service center. When purchasing a battery, check for the genuine Samsung logo (SAMSUNG) and name (VS15A60**** Series: VCA-SBTA60).
  • CAUTION: Do not disassemble the battery or wall mount. Do not apply heat or put the battery in fire. Use the battery only for this product. Removing the battery during operation may cause malfunction. If removed, the battery may not work for 30 seconds after re-attachment. Battery life and usage time may decrease with use. Replace exhausted batteries. Use only Samsung-provided mounts and batteries. Ensure correct battery insertion direction. Dispose of dead batteries in a collection box. Detach the battery if storing the vacuum for a long time.
  • When attaching the battery, push until it clicks to ensure it is secure. Otherwise, it may fall and cause damage or injury.
  • Do not drop, strike, or subject the battery to shock.
  • Do not disassemble the battery or create short circuits across terminals.
  • Battery leaks can occur under extreme conditions. Wash skin immediately with water. Flush eyes with water for at least 10 minutes and seek medical attention.
  • The vacuum may not operate if the temperature is below 5°C or above 45°C.
  • If not using the vacuum for an extended period, unplug the wall mount and detach the battery. The battery will slowly discharge when not charging or in use.
  • Recharge the battery when the level is low. Prolonged low battery levels can degrade performance.

Operation Notes & Cautions

  • NOTE: If excessive force is applied to a brush or foreign matter is caught, the brush may stop to protect the motor. Turn off, remove the matter, and turn on again. If it doesn't start, turn off and on again. Static electricity may occur depending on humidity, temperature, or floor material. Contact Samsung service if it happens repeatedly. Charge the battery fully before first use or after long storage, and when the indicator is low and blinking.
  • CAUTION: Do not touch the spinning brush while it is working, as it may cause injury. Do not use the vacuum on scratchable items like TV or monitor screens.

Maintenance Notes & Cautions

  • NOTE: Brush wheels can sometimes scratch floors; check them before use. Contact Samsung service if foreign matter on wheels cannot be removed.
  • CAUTION: Storing the vacuum in sunlight for long periods may cause deformation or discoloration. Dry parts in the shade. Do not clean the brush with water, as it can cause deformation or discoloration. Unplug the wall mount before cleaning. If suction reduces or the vacuum overheats, replace the fine dust filter. After cleaning washable parts, dry them in the shade.

Troubleshooting

Common Problems and Solutions

  • The vacuum cleaner does not work: Check battery level and charge. Ensure it's turned on. Check for blockages in the pipe, dustbin, or brush. Verify the washable micro filter is correctly inserted. Charge if unused for a long time. Replace the battery if it is dead.
  • Suction force decreases suddenly and the vacuum makes a vibrating sound: Check for blockages in the brush, dustbin, or pipe and remove foreign matter. Check if the dustbin is full and empty it. Check if the filter is dirty and clean it.
  • The vacuum cleaner cannot be charged: Check for foreign matter (dust) on the charging terminal and clean with a cotton swab or soft cloth. Ensure the vacuum is properly aligned on the charging station and the battery indicator is on.
  • The spinning brush does not work: Turn off the vacuum and check if the brush is clogged with foreign matter; remove it and restart. If the brush still doesn't spin, turn the vacuum off and on again. For the Jet Fit Brush, if the vacuum overheats, allow it to cool for about 30 minutes.
  • An odor is coming from the air outlet or filter: Empty the dustbin and clean filters frequently. New products may have a slight odor for the first 3 months. Accumulated dirt or dust can cause odors. Replacement filters are available from Samsung service agents.
  • Cleaning is finished but small dust particles come out of the brush: After cleaning, operate the vacuum in MAX mode for 10 seconds to suction up small dust particles.
  • Vacuum cleaner stops operation during cleaning: The motor may shut off to prevent overheating due to a full dustbin, a clogged suction part or brush, or prolonged use of the Extension Crevice Tool. Correct the cause and restart the product. Ambient temperature may affect this.
  • Static electricity occurs when cleaning a thick and soft mat: Some mats can cause static electricity. Move the brush on a normal floor for a while and clean again to resolve this.
