Points for Attention
⚠️ Danger Warning
- To avoid electric shock and fire, do not allow water, liquid or any flammable detergent to get into or to clean the product.
- Do not spray insecticide, perfume, or other flammable sprays around the products.
⚠️ Safety Warning
- Before connecting the power supply, please check if the voltage of the product is consistent with the local power voltage.
- If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by electrical technicians or professional personnel to avoid danger.
- Do not use it when the plug, power cord, or the product is damaged.
- Do not block the air inlet and air outlet.
- Do not insert foreign matter into the air inlet.
- This product should not be used by persons with physical disabilities, mental disabilities, or lack of relevant experience and skills.
- Do not allow children to play with the product or clean and maintain the product unsupervised.

- This product is not a substitute for normal ventilation, daily vacuuming or cooking range hoods.
- Make sure the connected power socket is in good contact, or the plug may become very hot.
- Do not place anything on the product.
- Ensure the product is used on a stable and horizontal level.
- Please leave at least 10in space on the back and sides of the product, and at least 20in space above the product when using.
- Do not put the product directly under the air conditioner to prevent condensation from dripping into the product.
- Before turning on the machine, make sure that the filter and filter cover is installed in place.
- Please use the filter specially designed for this product.
- Burning the filter may cause irreversible human harm or endanger other lives. Do not use the filter for fuel or similar purposes.
- Do not hit the product with hard objects (especially the air outlet and air inlet).
- Do not insert finger or other things into the air outlet/inlet to prevent physical damage or trouble.
- Do not use this product when using indoor aerosol repellent or in places filled with oil, flammable gas or chemical fumes.
- Ensure the device is power-off and unplugged before cleaning, maintaining, and replacing filter.
- Please unplug the product before moving it.

The Afloia Colin Air Purifier consists of the following components:

Instruction
Control Panel
The control panel features several buttons and indicators:
- WiFi Button: For managing WiFi connectivity.
- Wind Speed Button: Adjusts fan speed and selects modes.
- Timer Button: Sets the operating timer.
- Power Button: Turns the device on/off.
- Air Quality LED Light: Indicates current air quality with color (Blue: Good, Yellow: Average, Red: Poor).
- PM2.5 Display: Shows the real-time PM2.5 concentration.
- Timer/Mode/WiFi Indicators: Show the status of these functions.
Power Button Operation
Press the power button to turn the device on. The LED panel displays the remaining filter service life (e.g., 96%) and the LED light indicates air quality.
Wind Speed Button Operation
Press to adjust the working mode. Available modes are Sleep, Mid, High, and Auto.
Auto Mode:
- Air quality good: Blue indicator, low mode.
- Air quality average: Yellow indicator, mid mode.
- Air quality poor: Red indicator, high mode.
If the filter expires, the orange indicator will flash. Long-press the wind speed button for 5 seconds to clear the expiration prompt.
Timer Button Operation
Press this button to set the timer: 2H, 4H, 6H, 8H, 12H, 24H.
WiFi Button Operation
Long press the WiFi button for 5 seconds to change the flashing speed of the indicator, which represents different connection statuses:
- WiFi indicator blinks quickly: WiFi of the device is on.
- WiFi indicator blinks slowly: WiFi and Bluetooth of the device are on.
- WiFi indicator always on: Connected successfully.

WiFi Manual
Part 1: Create Afloia Home Account
- Install the "Afloia Home" APP: Scan the provided QR code or search "Afloia home" in your app store or Google Play.
- Open the "Afloia Home" app, log in, and sign up.
- Follow the in-app instructions to set up your Afloia Home account.
Part 2: Connect the Device with Your Phone
1. Connect Automatically
- Turn on the air purifier. Long press the WiFi button for 5 seconds until a beep and the indicator blinks fast.
- Turn on WiFi and Bluetooth on your phone.
- Open the Afloia Home app, tap "Add Device". "COLIN" should be detected automatically.
- Enter your WiFi name and password to finish the connection (requires a 2.4GHz WiFi network).
- If not detected automatically, tap "Auto Scan" on the phone page, then "Next", select "Colin", tap "+", enter WiFi credentials, and tap "Next".
If auto connection fails, proceed to manual connection.
2. Connect Manually
2.1 When the WiFi indicator blinks rapidly:
- Connect your phone to a 2.4G network.
- Open Afloia Home app, tap "Add Device" → "Add Manually".
- Choose "Small Home Appliances" → "Air Purifier (Wi-Fi)".
- Tap "Next" and wait for connection. Add the device (COLIN), enter WiFi name and password (2.4GHz network only).
2.2 When the WiFi indicator blinks slowly:
- Open your phone's Bluetooth.
- Open Afloia Home app, tap "Add Device" → "Add Manually".
- Choose "Small Home Appliances" → "Air Purifier (BLE+Wi-Fi)".
- Tap "Next", enter your WiFi name and password (2.4GHz network only).
- Go to your WLAN settings, connect to the network named "SmartLife_Colin".
- Return to the Afloia Home app to finish the connection.
App Connection FAQ
Note:
- The device only works with 2.4GHz WiFi networks. Switch to 2.4G if you are on a 5G network.
- WiFi Indicator Status:
- On & no blinking: Connected successfully.
- Blinking fast: WiFi is turned on.
- Blinking slow: WiFi and Bluetooth are on.
- Off: WiFi and Bluetooth are turned off.
- You can switch indicator status by holding the WiFi button for 5 seconds.
- The WiFi indicator does not blink when the machine is powered on or turned on.
- Connection may be lost if power or network is interrupted. Restart the device and reconnect.
Frequently Asked Questions:
- Q1: When the WiFi indicator blinks slow, a message indicates the Smartlife network cannot be connected or found.
- A: Initial connection may take longer. Exit and reconnect the app; it should complete within 2 minutes.
- Q2: When the WiFi indicator blinks slow, a password is needed for Smartlife connection.
- A: Go to your device's settings, navigate to "Afloia Home", and enable "Local Network".
- Q3: It is too slow to add devices when the indicator blinks fast.
- A: Exit and retry the app. Use a faster network or switch to a different connection mode.
- Q4: Why is my air purifier not working as instructed?
- A: Ensure the machine is properly connected to the power supply and has a stable network connection.

Sharing the Device
To connect the "COLIN" air purifier to other devices, tap "Share Device" from the app's "Me" page. The same COLIN unit can be shared with multiple mobile devices.
Steps:
- First, connect the air purifier to your mobile device.
- Then, in the app, navigate to the device settings, find "Share Device", and follow the prompts.
Please Note:
- This air purifier can only be connected to one mobile device at a time. If it's already added to one device, it cannot be added to another without causing the original device to go offline.
- When the mobile phone is connected, the WiFi indicator stays on. If it flashes, it means disconnection from the previous phone (due to network changes or a new phone connection).
Quickly Bind Alexa
Voice control is available with Amazon Alexa. You can operate the air purifier hands-free.
Steps to Link Afloia Home with Alexa:
- Step 1: Bind your app account to your Amazon account. This allows control via Amazon Echo speakers (e.g., "Alexa, turn on light.").
- Step 2: Enable the Afloia Home skill in the Alexa app.
- Step 3: Link your account. To unlink, disable the skill in the Alexa app.
Set Up Your Schedule (Auto Switch)
You can set fixed times to turn the machine on and off daily.
Steps: Settings → Schedule → Add → Save.
If a schedule doesn't activate after changes, reset the timer in the app or remove and re-add the air purifier.
Customize Your Smart Life
Navigate to the "Smart" page and tap "+" or "Create Scene" under "Automation" to set up one-click commands and smart settings.
You can configure the COLIN's operation mode based on weather changes for convenience.
If a scene does not work as expected, remove the air purifier from the app, add it again, and then recreate the scene.
Filter Replacing
When the filter's remaining service life is 0%, the indicator will flash yellow, signaling the need for replacement. Always use Afloia-produced filters to prevent device damage.
Notice:
- Wipe dust off the filter regularly; do not wash it.
- Do not vacuum the filter.
- Place the filter in direct sunlight periodically to sterilize bacteria.
Steps to Replace the Filter:
- Turn off the device and unplug it.
- Remove the back cover. Open the filter lock counterclockwise (look for "OFF NO" markings).
- Take out the old filter.
- Remove the packing from the new filter.
- Install the new filter by locking it clockwise.
- Install the back cover.
- Plug the device into the socket and press the power button. The screen will display the remaining filter life as 100%.
Maintenance
Notice:
- Ensure the device is unplugged before any maintenance.
- Do not immerse the air purifier in water or any liquid.
- Do not use abrasive, corrosive, or flammable cleansers (like bleach or alcohol) on any part of the unit.
- Do not wash the filter.
- Do not use a vacuum cleaner on the filter.
Cleaning
- Ensure the device is powered off and unplugged.
- Remove the filter. Gently pat the filter outside to remove adsorbed dust.
- Use a soft cloth with a neutral cleanser to clean dust or debris from the device's surface and air inlet/outlet.
- After the device is completely dry, place it in a cool, well-ventilated area. Ensure no water drips into the air outlet.
Storage
- Turn off the device, unplug it, and bundle the power cord.
- Remove and clean the filter, removing adsorbed dust.
- Clean the air inlet/outlet and wipe the body with a neutral detergent and a soft cloth.
- After the device is completely dry, place it in a dust cover/bag in a well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight.
- If not using for an extended period, turn the device on for a few minutes periodically.
FAQ
If any abnormal situation occurs, stop using the product immediately. Refer to the FAQ below for troubleshooting. For issues not covered, contact customer service at service@afloia.com. Do not attempt to disassemble the machine yourself.

The fan may have abnormal noise. Contact customer service immediately via service@afloia.com. Check for foreign matter at the bottom of the device causing unevenness. |
Nasty smell | Please identify which kind of smell? | It's normal for air purifiers to have a slight plastic smell initially. Dirty filters can also cause odors. If a burning smell is detected, unplug the device and contact customer service. Use only Afloia filters. |
The reminder of replacing filter keeps flashing after new filter has been replaced | 1. Please confirm whether the filter is produced by Afloia. 2. Please check whether the plastic bag outside the filter has been removed. |
We guarantee the quality of Afloia filters. For other brands, compatibility cannot be guaranteed. Remove the plastic film outside the filter. |
The phone can not connect to the device | 1. Are both WiFi and Bluetooth of the mobile phone turned on? 2. Make sure the WiFi indicator is flashing slowly, waiting for connection. 3. Is it a 2.4GHz WiFi network? |
Turn on WiFi and Bluetooth. Long press the WiFi button for 5s; when the indicator blinks slowly, add devices. Use a 2.4GHz WiFi network (5G is not supported). If issues persist, check "ME" -> "FAQ & Feedback" in the Afloia Home App or contact customer service at service@afloia.com. |
