Control Functions
Refer to Figure 1 for control locations.
- ON/OFF: Power button.
- DC INPUT Port: Connect the supplied power cable to this port and to a standard 120V power outlet to recharge the internal battery.
- LED Charge Indicator: Indicates charging status. Red indicates charging, Green indicates charge is complete.
- Line Output: 3.5mm connection.
- AUX INPUT: 3.5mm connection for any audio source with a 3.5mm output.
- Volume Down: Press to decrease volume.
- Volume Up: Press to increase volume.
- Mode: Multiple key functions for cycling Bluetooth and AUX modes (default is Bluetooth mode).
- Bluetooth mode LED (Blue) indicator: During pairing mode, the Blue LED will flash. When connection is completed, the Blue LED will be solid.
- AUX LED (Green): When there is a connection change to AUX IN, the AUX LED will be solid green.

Instructions
Charging
- To charge the Snap-on® Micro Box Bluetooth Speaker/Phone Charger, plug the provided power cord into an outlet.
- The LED (red) will illuminate while charging and then turn green when fully charged.
- The Micro Box Bluetooth Speaker/Phone Charger requires 2.5 hours or more to fully charge the internal battery.
Wireless Connection
- Move the ON/OFF switch on your Micro Box Bluetooth Speaker/Phone Charger to the "ON" position. The device will announce "Bluetooth Mode" and the blue light will flash on and off.
- Turn on Bluetooth Wireless capability on your device to make it discoverable to the Micro Box Bluetooth Speaker/Phone Charger. Refer to your device's instructions for adding or setting up a Bluetooth Wireless device. The Bluetooth Wireless option is typically found in the "Settings" or "Tools" menu.
- A menu will appear on your device showing recognized Bluetooth Wireless devices. Tap on "BT Micro Speaker/Charger". The device will acknowledge by saying "Connecting".
- While the speaker scans to pair with your device, the blue light on the back will continue to flash. Once your device is discovered, the blue light will remain solid.
- You can now navigate back to your applications menu on your device to play your music selections.
AUX Connection
- Connect the Micro Box Bluetooth Speaker/Phone Charger to any device with a headphone jack or line out using the included 3.5mm audio cable.
- The LED (green) light will illuminate, indicating a connection.
Wireless Charging
- Align and place the mobile phone in the center of the rubber piece for optimal charging. The charging indicator will illuminate blue once charging begins.
- If the blue indicator is off or flashing, reposition the mobile phone on the charging area.
- Ensure the mobile phone supports wireless charging.
- Check for any metal objects on or near the mobile phone and remove them.
Clock Adjustment
- Turn on the speaker. Press and hold "MODE" for 3 seconds to enter clock adjustment mode. Use "VOLUME +" and "VOLUME -" to adjust the hour.
- Short press "MODE", then short press "VOLUME +" and "VOLUME -" to adjust the minute.
- Short press "MODE" again to confirm the changes.
Reset
In case the speaker becomes unresponsive, press and hold "MODE" for 10 seconds to reset and reboot the speaker. It should then function properly.
Safety Warnings and Cautions
Fire and Electric Shock Hazard
- Do not expose the device to liquid, moisture, humidity, or rain.
- Do not use near bathtubs, sinks, saunas, pools, or steam rooms. Exposure to moisture could result in electric shock.
- Do not drop, disassemble, open, crush, bend, deform, puncture, microwave, incinerate, paint, or insert foreign objects into the device. Such actions could result in electric shock.
- Clean the device only with a dry cloth.
- Do not expose the device to extremely high or low temperatures.
- Do not leave the device in direct sunlight for extended periods.
- Do not place the device near open flames, such as cooking burners, candles, or fireplaces.
- Do not block any ventilation openings.
Battery/Charger Hazard
- Do not dispose of the device in a fire, as the battery could explode, causing injury or death.
- Only charge the battery according to the user instructions supplied with the device.
- Do not attempt to disassemble the device or force open the built-in battery, as this may result in electric shock.
- Do not charge the device in damp areas or in extremely high or low temperatures, as this could result in electric shock.
- Do not clean the device while it is charging. Always unplug the charger first before cleaning.
- Do not leave or store the device or its accessories near or over an automobile's airbag, as serious injury may result when an airbag deploys.
Caution
- Do not use abrasive cleaners on the device, as this will cause damage.
- Do not insert anything into the device unless specified in the user instructions, as this could damage internal components.
- Do not attempt to repair, replace, modify, or disassemble the device yourself; it contains no user-serviceable components.
- Do not attempt to replace the built-in battery; it is not changeable.
- Use only the manufacturer-supplied charger. Other chargers may appear similar but could cause electric shock or damage the unit.
- Do not use the device on any aircraft.
- Observe all signs and displays that prohibit the use of electrical devices or RF radio in designated areas.
- Dispose of the device in accordance with local regulations. Do not dispose of batteries with regular household waste.
FCC Warning Statement
Changes or modifications not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance could void the user's authority to operate the equipment.
This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation. This equipment generates, uses, and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. The distance between the user and the product should be no less than 20cm.
This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC rules. Operation is subject to the following two conditions: 1) this device may not cause harmful interference, and 2) this device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation.
Warranty
Snap-on® Micro Box Bluetooth Speaker/Phone Charger is guaranteed against defects in material and workmanship for one year (1 year) from the date of purchase. This warranty is limited to the original purchaser. Product found defective during this period will be repaired or replaced by 4J International Inc. at no charge. Warranty does not cover shipping damage. This warranty is void if unauthorized parties have attempted repairs or alterations. 4J International Inc. disclaims liability for other incurred damages resulting from product defects. Expenses for removal and re-installation are not covered. 4J International's total liability will not exceed the purchase price of the product. A Return Goods Authorization (RGA) number is required before shipping product back to 4J International Inc. To obtain an RGA number, call 1-262-656-1956 or email customerservice@4j-intl.com.
