Warning Statement

⚠️ Upon installation of this Monitor/DVD player ("unit") into a vehicle, the driver must not operate this unit by watching videos or playing video games while driving. Failure to follow this instruction could lead to driver distraction, resulting in serious injury or death to vehicle occupants or persons outside the vehicle, and/or property damage.

Several states prohibit monitors/DVD players if the screen is visible from the driver's seat. If such a law exists in your jurisdiction, this unit must not be installed so the screen is visible from the driver's seat. Position the unit to face the front passenger seat only. Failure to follow this instruction could lead to driver distraction, resulting in serious injury or death.

This unit is designed to operate only when the vehicle is in "Park" and the parking brake is fully engaged. It includes a parking brake lock-out feature. Connect the parking brake detect wire ("Pink Lead") to the parking brake mechanism. DO NOT simply ground the wire. Failure to properly install this feature could lead to driver distraction, resulting in serious injury or death.

Once installed, do not attempt to disrupt/neutralize the parking brake lock-out feature by partially engaging the brake or using unauthorized devices. Failure to follow these instructions could lead to driver distraction, resulting in serious injury or death.

When operating, keep the volume low enough to hear traffic-related sounds (e.g., police and emergency vehicles). Failure to follow this instruction could lead to driver distraction, resulting in serious injury or death.
