Warranty Information

1 Year Limited Warranty

Sunbeam Products, Inc. (JCS) warrants this product to be free from defects in material and workmanship for one year from the date of purchase. JCS will repair or replace the product or component found to be defective. Replacement will be with a new or remanufactured product or component of equal or greater value. This is your exclusive warranty. Do not attempt to repair or adjust any electrical or mechanical functions, as this will void the warranty. The warranty is valid for the original retail purchaser and is not transferable. Proof of purchase is required.

This warranty does not cover normal wear of parts or damage resulting from negligent use, misuse, use on improper voltage, use contrary to operating instructions, disassembly, repair or alteration by anyone other than JCS or an authorized service center. It also does not cover Acts of God (fire, flood, hurricanes, tornadoes).

JCS is not liable for incidental or consequential damages. Any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose is limited to the duration of the above warranty. JCS disclaims all other warranties.

MAXFLOW™ Heating System

The patented MaxFlow™ Heating system uses a top-mounted fan and internal shroud for maximum heat dispersion, providing instant, penetrating warmth and whole-room coverage.

Operating Instructions

1. Carefully remove the heater from the box. Save the carton for off-season storage.
2. Ensure the unit is in the Off (1/0) position before plugging it into the outlet.
3. Avoid overloading your circuit by not using other high wattage appliances in the same outlet. This unit draws 12.5 Amps at 1500 Watts.
4. Note: Vibration or noise from the grill and quartz tubes during operation is normal and safe. It will cease once the quartz heating element warms up.

Mode Control

• 1/0 - Off Mode: Turns the heater off. The power light may remain lit until unplugged.
• 1 - Low Heat: The heater runs continuously at 750W.
• 2 - High Heat: The heater runs continuously at 1500W.

Thermostat Control

1. Allow the heater to operate and warm the room before setting the thermostat. Turn the Thermostat Control clockwise to High to start the heater.
2. When desired comfort level is reached, lower the thermostat setting by moving the Thermostat Control counter-clockwise toward the Low setting until the heater stops operating.
3. The control will automatically maintain the pre-set temperature by cycling the heater ON and OFF.
4. Note: The heater cycling ON and OFF is normal. To prevent cycling, raise the thermostat setting.

CAUTION: FRONT GRILL IS HOT WHEN UNIT IS IN OPERATION.

Cleaning/Maintenance

• Always unplug the heater and allow it to cool down before cleaning.
• Clean the unit with a soft cloth moistened with a mild soap solution.
• NEVER use abrasive or flammable solvents.
• Dry the unit completely with a cloth or towel after cleaning.
• Store the heater in a cool, dry location, preferably in its original carton.
• Dust accumulation on front grills can be removed by wiping with a damp cloth.

Auto Safety Shut-Off with Instant Tip Over Protection

This heater has an advanced safety system that automatically shuts off the heater if a potential overheat temperature is reached. The unit requires user reset to resume operation.

Reset Instructions:

1. Turn Control to OFF.
2. Unplug the unit and wait 30 minutes.
3. Plug in and operate normally.

Tip Over Shut-Off: The unit will instantly shut off if accidentally knocked over or moved. To reset, place the heater in an upright position. If the unit does not turn on, turn the Mode Control to High (2) to resume operation.

Troubleshooting (If your heater fails to operate):

• UNPLUG THE UNIT and ensure it is placed in an upright position.
• Check that the electrical outlet or circuit breaker is working.
• Check for obstructions. Turn the heater OFF, unplug it, carefully remove any obstruction, and follow reset instructions.
• The thermostat may be set too low. Turn the Thermostat Control clockwise until the heater restarts.
• Ensure the Mode Control is set to Low (1) or High (2).

Sistema de Calefacción MaxFlow™

Si su calentador no funciona

PRECAUCIÓN: LA REJILLA FRONTAL ESTÁ CALIENTE CUANDO LA UNIDAD ESTÁ EN FUNCIONAMIENTO.

Limpieza / Mantenimiento

• Siempre desenchufe el calentador y déjelo enfriar antes de limpiarlo.
• Limpie la unidad con un paño suave humedecido en una solución de jabón suave.
• NUNCA use solventes abrasivos o inflamables.
• Seque completamente la unidad con un paño o toalla después de limpiarla.
• Guarde el calentador en un lugar fresco y seco, preferiblemente en su caja original.
• El polvo acumulado en las rejillas frontales se puede eliminar limpiando la unidad con un paño húmedo.

Apagado Automático de Seguridad con Protección Instantánea contra Vuelcos

Este calentador está equipado con un sistema de seguridad avanzado que apaga automáticamente el calentador si se alcanza una temperatura de sobrecalentamiento potencial. La unidad requiere que el usuario la reinicie para reanudar el funcionamiento.

Instrucciones de reinicio:

1. Gire el Control a APAGADO.
2. Desenchufe la unidad y espere 30 minutos.
3. Enchufe y opere normalmente.
