Troubleshooting
If your heater fails to operate:
- Ensure the electrical outlet or circuit breaker is working.
- Check for obstructions. If found, turn the heater OFF, unplug the unit, carefully remove the obstruction, and follow reset instructions.
- Ensure the switch on the ALCI plug is in the RESET position.
- The temperature may be set too low. Turn the Thermostat Control to a higher temperature level until the heater restarts.
- Ensure you follow the Operating Instructions to turn on the heater and set the digital thermostat to your comfort level.
- Timer has elapsed. Start Time mode will automatically turn OFF after 30 minutes.
- Press the power button so the power light ring illuminates.
- Once the clock is set, only the power ring signifies that the heater buttons (other than the power button) can be used.
DO NOT attempt to open or repair the heater. Please see the Warranty for Service Instructions.

Warranty Information
1 Year Limited Warranty
Sunbeam Products, Inc. (doing business as Jarden Consumer Solutions) warrants this product to be free from defects in material and workmanship for one year from the date of purchase. JCS will, at its option, repair or replace this product or any component found to be defective. Replacement will be made with a new or remanufactured product or component. If the product is no longer available, replacement may be made with a similar product of equal or greater value.
This warranty is valid for the original retail purchaser from the date of initial retail purchase and is not transferable. Keep the original sales receipt. Proof of purchase is required.
This warranty does not cover normal wear of parts or damage resulting from negligent use, misuse, use on improper voltage or current, use contrary to operating instructions, disassembly, repair or alteration by anyone other than JCS or an authorized JCS service center. It also does not cover Acts of God, such as fire, flood, hurricanes, and tornadoes.
Limitation of Liability: JCS shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential damages caused by the breach of any express, implied or statutory warranty or condition. Any implied warranty or condition of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose is limited in duration to the duration of the above warranty. JCS disclaims all other warranties, conditions or representations.

Features & Operations
Cool Down Process: When the preset temperature is reached or the heater is shut off, the fan will run for 10 seconds without heat for accurate temperature reading.
Memory Function: The digital thermostat remembers the last temperature setting. However, if the heater is unplugged, the thermostat must be reset.
Clock - Set Current Time
- Press and hold the Clock Button (F) for 3 seconds.
- Hour digits will blink. Use the Thermostat Control (E) to adjust hours and AM/PM.
- Press the Clock Button (F) again until minute digits blink. Use the Thermostat Control (E) to adjust minutes (00-59).
- Press the Clock Button (F) again to confirm.
Start Time - Set Timer to Turn Heater ON
- The Start Time button programs the heater to turn ON at a preset time. The unit turns on in "Stay On" setting and will automatically turn OFF after 30 minutes.
- To preset time, press and hold the Start Time Button (G) for 3 seconds.
- Hour digits will blink. Use the Thermostat Control (E) to adjust hours and AM/PM.
- Press the Start Time Button (G) until minute digits blink. Use the Thermostat Control (E) to adjust minutes (00-59).
- Press the Start Time Button (G) again to set the preset time.
- Press and hold the Start Time Button (G) to activate the Timer feature. The timer icon ([timer-icon]) and current clock time will appear on the LCD Display (A).
- To turn off the Timer feature, press and hold the Start Time Button (G) until the timer icon ([timer-icon]) disappears.
Note: Modes cannot be changed once the timer is engaged without powering down the unit. The timer has memory, but you must re-activate the Start Time feature daily to program the heater repeatedly at your preset time.
Operating Instructions
- Place heater on a firm, level surface.
- Avoid overloading your circuit by not using other high wattage appliances in the same outlet.
Power On/Off: Press the Power Button (B). The LCD Display (A) and Power Light Ring (D) will illuminate. The LCD will show the current clock time and the Thermostat icon ([thermostat-icon]).
Mode Settings: Press the Mode Button (C) to cycle through settings:
- Thermostat: Thermostat icon ([thermostat-icon]) and current clock time appear. Use Thermostat Control (E) to adjust temperature from 65°F to 85°F. The heater cycles on/off to maintain the set temperature.
- Fan Only Setting: Fan icon ([fan-icon]) and current clock time appear. The heater runs continuously without heat.
- Stay On Setting: "Stay On" and current clock time appear. The heater runs continuously at 1500W. Press the Power Button (B) to turn off.
Note: It is normal for the heater to cycle on and off to maintain the preset temperature. To prevent cycling, raise the thermostat setting.
Cleaning & Maintenance
Always unplug the heater and allow it to cool before cleaning.
- Clean the unit with a soft cloth moistened with a mild soap solution.
- NEVER use abrasive or flammable solvents.
- Dry the unit completely with a cloth or towel.
- Store the heater in a cool, dry location, preferably in its original carton.
Auto Safety Shut-Off
This heater is equipped with an advanced safety system that requires user reset in case of potential overheat. When a potential overheat temperature is reached, the system automatically shuts the heater off. It can only resume operation when the user resets the unit.
Reset Instructions
If your heater shuts down:
- Unplug the unit and wait 30 minutes.
- Plug in and operate normally.

Wall Mount Installation Instructions
This heater can be mounted on a wall using the included Wall Mount Bracket (not over a tub/shower).
- Carefully remove the heater and Wall Mount Bracket from the box.
- Secure the mounting bracket to the wall (See Figure 1).
- Turn the heater sideways and align the mounting tab on the back with the mounting bracket.
- Place the mounting tab into the bracket and rotate the heater upright to lock it in place.
Note: Mounting screws are not included. Please visit your local hardware store to determine the best type of screw for your wall.
ALCI Safety Device
This device provides protection against electric shock due to ground fault currents by automatically shutting off power. To test: switch the heater ON, press the TEST button on the ALCI device. The heater and fan should stop. Press the RESET button to resume normal operation.
Caution: Although this device reduces the risk of electric shock, this product should NEVER be used near water.

Si su calefactor no funciona:
- Asegúrese de que el tomacorriente o la llave térmica funcione correctamente.
