Introduction
The iLIVE IC600B is a radio clock featuring an integrated iPod dock, dual alarms, AM/FM radio, and an auxiliary input. It offers a convenient way to listen to music, wake up, and stay informed.
Device Controls and Indicators:
- SNOOZE: Press to delay an alarm by 9 minutes, or to set the sleep timer.
- CLK ADJ / SOURCE: Press to set the time or adjust the audio source.
- VOLUME: Controls the audio volume.
- AL OFF/POWER: Press to cancel an active alarm, or to turn the radio clock on/off.
- PRESET (±) / AL1 / AL2: Press to cycle through preset stations, or to set Alarm 1 or Alarm 2.
- EQ / DISP: Press to adjust the equalizer, or press and hold to view the clock display in radio mode.
- REW / FWD / TUNE / HR / MIN: Press to skip tracks or browse on a connected iPod, to tune the radio, or to adjust hours and minutes when setting the clock or alarm.
- PLAY/PAUSE/MEM: Press to play or pause a connected iPod, or to save the current radio station as a preset.
- DISPLAY: Shows the time and other status information.
- DOCK PARA IPOD: Connect your iPod here.

Rear and Side Controls:
- TIME ZONE: Press to adjust the time zone.
- RESET: Press to restore the radio clock to its original settings.
- DST: Use to activate or deactivate Daylight Saving Time.
- DIMMER: Press repeatedly to adjust screen brightness.
- FM ANTENNA: FM antenna connection.
- POWER INPUT: Connect the AC adapter here.
- AUX INPUT: Use to connect an MP3 player or other audio source to the radio clock. Connecting an audio source to the AUX INPUT requires a 3.5mm mini-jack cable.
Important Safety Information
CAUTION: TO PREVENT ELECTRIC SHOCK, DO NOT REMOVE COVER (OR BACK). NO USER-SERVICEABLE PARTS INSIDE. REFER ALL SERVICING TO QUALIFIED SERVICE PERSONNEL.
The lightning flash with arrowhead symbol within an equilateral triangle is intended to alert the user to the presence of 'dangerous voltage' within the product's enclosure that may be of sufficient magnitude to constitute a risk of electric shock to persons.
The exclamation point within an equilateral triangle is intended to alert the user to the presence of important operating and maintenance (servicing) instructions in the literature accompanying this appliance.
This product uses a Class 1 Laser to read compact discs. This laser product is equipped with safety interlocks to prevent exposure when the CD door is open and the interlock system has been defeated. There is invisible laser radiation when the CD player lid is open and the interlock has failed or been bypassed. It is important that you avoid direct exposure to the laser beam at all times. Please do not attempt to defeat or bypass the safety interlocks.

- Clean only with a dry cloth.
- Do not block any ventilation openings. Install in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.
- Do not install near any heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other apparatus (including amplifiers) that produce heat.
- Do not defeat the safety purpose of the polarized or grounding-type plug. A polarized plug has two blades with one wider than the other. A grounding-type plug has two blades and a third grounding prong. The wide blade or the third prong are provided for your safety. If the provided plug does not fit into your outlet, consult an electrician for replacement of the obsolete outlet.
- Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched, particularly at plugs, convenience receptacles, and the point where they exit from the apparatus.
- Use only attachments/accessories specified by the manufacturer.
- Use only with a cart, stand, tripod, bracket, or table specified by the manufacturer, or sold with the apparatus. When a cart is used, use caution when moving the cart/apparatus combination to avoid injury from tip-over.
- Unplug this apparatus during lightning storms or when unused for long periods of time.
- Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel. Servicing is required when the apparatus has been damaged in any way, such as power-supply cord or plug is damaged, liquid has been spilled or objects have fallen into the apparatus, the apparatus has been exposed to rain or moisture, does not operate normally, or has been dropped.

NOTE: This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation. This equipment generates, uses, and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation. If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures:
- Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
- Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.
- Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected.
- Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help.
Additional Warnings:
- The apparatus shall not be exposed to dripping or splashing and no objects filled with liquids, such as vases, shall be placed on the apparatus.
- The power plug is used as the disconnect device and shall remain readily operable during intended use. To disconnect the apparatus from the mains completely, the power plug shall be disconnected from the mains socket outlet completely.
- The battery shall not be exposed to excessive heat such as sunshine, fire or the like.
- The caution mark is located on the rear of the apparatus.
- The information mark is located on the rear of the apparatus.

Setup
Powering the Unit
Connect the included AC cord to a standard AC outlet to power the radio clock.
Battery Backup
Requires 1 CR2032 battery (pre-installed). The battery backup is for retaining the time during brief power outages. The unit cannot perform all its normal functions using only the backup battery.

Radio Antennas
Extend the FM antenna wire for improved FM radio reception. The radio clock has an AM antenna integrated internally. Move the radio clock's position to improve AM radio reception.
Clock Functions
Intelli Set™ Auto Time Setting
The Intelli Set™ time function automatically sets the unit's clock to Eastern Standard Time.
- Press the POWER button to turn off the unit.
- Press and hold the Time Zone button.
- With the Time Zone button held, press the Hr/Min buttons on the top of the radio clock to adjust the time zone. Use the map provided in the manual to find your time zone.
- Release the Time Zone button to finish setting the time.

Manual Time Setting
Follow the 'Intelli Set™ Auto Time Setting' instructions before attempting to set the time manually.
- Press and hold the Clk Adj button.
- With the Clk Adj button held, press the Hr/Min buttons on the top of the radio clock to adjust the hours and minutes.
- Release the Clk Adj button to finish setting the time.
Daylight Saving Time
The Daylight Saving Time function is for activating in spring at the summer solstice and deactivating in autumn at the winter solstice.
- On the summer solstice, press the Power button to turn off the unit.
- Press and hold the Clk Adj button.
- With the Clk Adj button held, press the Dst button to activate the Daylight Saving Time function.
- On the winter solstice, repeat steps 1-3 to deactivate the Daylight Saving Time function.
Display examples: Shows 'DST activated' and 'DST deactivated' on the display.
Sleep Timer
The sleep timer can only be set when the radio clock is on.
- Press the Power button to turn on the radio clock.
- Press the Source button to select the desired mode (iPod, AM radio, FM radio, or Aux).
- Press the Snooze button repeatedly to set the sleep timer. Once the selected time has elapsed, the unit will automatically turn off.
Display example: Sleep timer display shows '20' for 20 minutes. Press SNOOZE to view remaining time.
Alarm Functions
Setting Alarms
- Press and hold the AL1 (Alarm 1) or AL2 (Alarm 2) button.
- With the AL1 or AL2 button pressed, press the Hr/Min buttons on the top of the radio clock to set the alarm hours and minutes.
- While continuing to press the AL1 or AL2 button, press the Source button to set the alarm source:
- Buzz - Wake to buzzer
- Tune FM - Wake to FM radio
- Tune AM - Wake to AM radio
- iPod - Wake to a connected iPod
- Release the AL1 or AL2 button to finish setting the alarm.
Display examples: LCD display shows Alarm 1 set to buzzer and Alarm 2 set to iPod. Another display shows Alarm 2 being set to AM radio, with the hour flashing.
When the Alarm Sounds
When the alarm sounds, you can turn off the alarm until the next scheduled alarm time, or press the Snooze button to delay the alarm by 9 additional minutes.
Canceling an Alarm
To cancel an alarm, press the AL1 or AL2 button twice. The alarm source icon will disappear from the display.
iPod Functions
Connecting an iPod
- Locate the numbered adapter corresponding to the iPod model you will connect. Each included adapter has a number indicating the iPod model it is compatible with. Refer to the adapter table page to identify the required adapter.
- Place the adapter onto the dock's iPod connector.
- Connect the iPod to the iPod connector inside the dock. When the radio clock is connected to a power source, the connected iPod will charge.

Playing an iPod
- Press the Power button to turn on the radio clock.
- Press the Source button to switch to iPod mode.
- Press the Play/Pause/Mem button to start playing the connected iPod.
iPod Charging
Please note that a connected iPod will charge in all modes except for AM radio mode.
Radio Functions
Tuning AM/FM Radio
- Press the Power button to turn on the radio clock.
- Press the Source button to switch to AM or FM radio mode.
- Press the Tune (+ / -) buttons to tune the AM or FM radio.
Saving a Station as a Preset
- After tuning to the desired AM or FM radio station, press the Play/Pause/mem button. The preset number will begin flashing on the display.
- Press the Preset (+/-) buttons to select the preset number.
- Press the Play/Pause/mem button to save the current AM or FM radio station as a preset in the selected number.
Selecting a Preset Radio Station
- Press the Power button to turn on the radio clock.
- Press the Source button to switch to AM or FM radio mode.
- Press the Preset (+/-) buttons to cycle through the preset stations.
Auxiliary Input
Using the Aux Input
- Press the Power button to turn on the radio clock.
- Press the Source button to switch to Aux mode.
- Connect an MP3 player or other audio source to the Aux input. Connecting an audio source to the AUX INPUT requires a 3.5mm mini-jack cable.
- Use the controls of the connected device to play, pause, stop, and skip tracks.
