Introduction
Please read this manual carefully before operating your set and retain it for future reference. Some content may differ from your unit.
Front Panel Controls
- [Power]: Switches the unit ON or OFF.
- [Function]: Selects the input source or function.
- [Volume]: Adjusts the volume level.
- [Wi-Fi]: Selects the Wi-Fi function.
Rear Panel Ports
- [USB Service]: S/W download connector.
- [Optical In]: Connect to an optical device.
- [HDMI Out (ARC)]: Connect to a TV via HDMI ARC.
- [HDMI In]: Connect to a device with HDMI OUT.
Subwoofer Connection
Place the wireless subwoofer near the sound bar.
Automatic Connection:
- Connect the power cords of the sound bar and the wireless subwoofer to the outlet.
- Turn on the sound bar. The sound bar and subwoofer will connect automatically. The subwoofer's green LED will turn on.
Manual Connection:
If the subwoofer does not make sound, try connecting manually:
- Press the 'Pairing' button on the rear of the wireless subwoofer. The green LED will blink quickly. (If it doesn't blink, press and hold 'Pairing'.)
- Turn on the sound bar. Pairing is completed when the green LED on the subwoofer turns on.
Important: Keep the sound bar and subwoofer at least [Distance > 1m] from devices like wireless routers or microwave ovens to prevent wireless interference.
TV Connection
Connect the sound bar to your TV using an Optical cable or HDMI ARC.
Optical Connection:
- Connect the sound bar to the TV using an Optical cable.
- On your TV's settings menu, select [External Speaker (Optical)].
HDMI (ARC) Connection:
- Connect the sound bar to the TV using an HDMI cable.
- On your TV's settings menu, select [External Speaker (HDMI ARC)].
Note: HDMI ARC connection requires your TV to support HDMI ARC. If connected via OPTICAL and ARC simultaneously, the ARC signal has higher priority.
Additional Device Connection
Connect external devices (e.g., Set-top Box, Player) as shown. Connect via HDMI or Optical cable. Then, set the input source on the sound bar by pressing the [Function] button repeatedly.
Network Connection (Wi-Fi Setup)
Ensure a router is connected to your network.
- Connect your smart device to your home network.
- Connect the sound bar to the power supply. Ensure all devices are connected to the same router.
Step 1: Install "Google Home" App
Download the Google Home App from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
Step 2: Set up Wi-Fi Connection:
- Connect your smart device to the Wi-Fi network you intend to use for the speaker. (For iOS devices, ensure Bluetooth is enabled.)
- Launch the "Google Home" app.
- Follow the on-screen instructions in the app for Wi-Fi connection.
Note: Upon successful Wi-Fi connection, "CONNECTED" will appear on the display with an audible confirmation. The app may prompt you to create a Google Account, which is required for its use. The "Google Home" app is provided by Google and may be subject to changes.
Bluetooth Connection
Step 1: Connect to Wi-Fi
Ensure the speaker is connected to Wi-Fi using the "Google Home" app. Bluetooth is inactive until Wi-Fi is connected.
Step 2: Change Function
Select the Bluetooth function by pressing the [Function] button repeatedly.
Step 3: Find and Select Speaker
On your smart device's Bluetooth list, find and select the speaker name previously set in the "Google Home" app. "PAIRED" will appear on the display upon successful connection.
Remote Control Functions
- SOUND EFFECT: Selects a sound effect mode. (Long press SOUND EFFECT and press again to use TV remote control functions.)
- [Night Mode]: Turns the Night Time Mode on or off.
- [Info]: Displays file information, input source, connected Bluetooth device name, or application name. (Long press [Info] to activate Auto Power ON/OFF.)
- [Volume]: Adjusts the sound level for each speaker. (Long press [Volume] to activate Surround sound.)
- [Not Available]: This button is not available.
Remote Control Battery Replacement:
Replace the battery with two AAA (R03) batteries.
Additional Information
LG Wi-Fi Speaker Application
Download the "LG Wi-Fi Speaker" app from the App Store or Google Play Store to manage speaker settings and control the speaker.

Rear Speakers Ready

To enjoy content with Dolby Atmos® and DTS:X®, the connected device and content must support these formats.
Disconnecting Wireless Network/Device:
Turn off the unit by pressing and holding the power button for more than 3 seconds.
