The RKI Instruments 04 Series toxic single gas monitor is engineered for reliable, long-term operation in demanding environments. Designed for personal safety, these monitors are available for detecting specific toxic gases including HCN, NO2, PH3, and SO2, as well as CO with H2 elimination, and O2/CO combo sensors.

Each monitor features field-replaceable sensors and filters, ensuring extended service life. The HCN, NO2, PH3, and SO2 versions operate continuously for at least 3,000 hours on two AAA alkaline batteries. The 04 models offer three user-adjustable preset alarms and are equipped with standard visual, audible, and vibration alarms.
Replacement sensors are cost-effective, easily field-replaceable, and compatible with other RKI instruments like the GX-3R, GX-3R Pro, and GasWatch 3. Sensors are backed by a 3-year warranty and have a life expectancy of over 3 years.
The 04 Series monitors are impact, dust, and water resistant with an IP-67 ingress protection rating. They are certified safe for use in hazardous locations, classified as intrinsically safe by ATEX/IECEx and QPS for U.S. and Canadian standards (Class I, Division 1, Groups A, B, C, D atmospheres).
