Battery Safety Precautions

Danger:

  • Do not expose the battery to water, seawater, or moisture. This can lead to overheating, ignition, or explosion.
  • Do not place the battery near open flames or heating devices. Excessive heat can cause damage and short circuits, leading to overheating, combustion, or explosion.
  • Use only the specified charger provided by Aroot. Incorrect chargers can cause overheating, combustion, or explosion.
  • Charging with a modified charger or incorrect polarity may cause abnormal chemical reactions, leading to overheating, combustion, or explosion.
  • Do not connect the battery directly to an unspecified electrical power outlet. This can cause overheating, combustion, or explosion due to over-current or over-voltage.
  • Do not heat or place the battery near fire. This can melt insulation, damage safety mechanisms, and ignite the contents, risking overheating, combustion, or explosion.
  • Always observe correct polarity when using the battery. Incorrect charging or discharging can lead to abnormal reactions, overheating, combustion, or explosion.
  • Prevent the battery terminals ((+) or (-)) from contacting metal objects like necklaces or hairpins. This can cause a short circuit, leading to overheating, ignition, or explosion.
  • Do not throw the battery or subject it to strong shock. Damage to the safety mechanism can lead to overcharging and adverse chemical reactions, risking overheating, combustion, or explosion.
  • Avoid placing heavy objects on the battery or stepping on it, as this can cause an internal short circuit and risk overheating, combustion, or explosion.
  • Do not solder the battery directly. This can melt insulation, damage safety mechanisms, and lead to overheating, combustion, or explosion.
  • Do not disassemble or modify the battery. It contains safety equipment and mechanisms; tampering risks overheating, combustion, or explosion.
  • Do not charge the battery near open flames or direct sunlight. High temperatures can affect the safety mechanism, preventing charging or causing overcharging, risking overheating, combustion, or explosion.
  • Do not expose the battery to temperatures over 60°C or store it in hot/humid places.

Warning:

  • Keep batteries out of reach of small children to prevent swallowing accidents. Consult a physician immediately if a battery is swallowed.
  • Do not place the battery in a microwave oven or high-pressure unit. This can cause sudden overheating or seal destruction, leading to overheating, combustion, or explosion.
  • Do not use batteries of different types or capacities (e.g., dry cells) with this product. This can cause excessive discharge or charge, leading to abnormal chemical reactions, overheating, combustion, or explosion.
  • If the battery emits strange smells or shows unusual symptoms (overheating, discoloration, deformation), remove it from the product/charger and discontinue use. Abnormal status risks overheating, combustion, or explosion.
  • If the battery does not charge after a certain period, discontinue charging. This carries a risk of overheating, combustion, or explosion.
  • If the battery leaks electrolyte or emits a strange smell, keep it away from open flames. Leaked electrolyte can catch fire, risking overheating, combustion, or explosion.
  • If leaked electrolyte enters the eyes, wash immediately with clean water and consult a physician to prevent permanent eye injury.

Caution:

  • Do not use or leave the battery in locations exposed to high temperatures or intense direct sunlight (e.g., inside an automobile). This can cause overheating and/or combustion, reducing battery performance and product life.
  • The battery contains a safety mechanism. Avoid locations prone to static electricity, as this can damage the mechanism and lead to overheating, combustion, or explosion.
  • Observe specified temperature ranges for battery usage: Charging: 0°C to 50°C; Product Usage: -10°C to 50°C; Storage: -20°C to 60°C (30 days); Long-Term Storage: -20°C to 40°C (90 days). Usage outside these ranges can cause overheating, damage, and reduced performance/life.
  • Review the exclusive charger manual for detailed charging instructions.
  • If abnormal symptoms (strange smell, overheating) occur upon first use, contact your local dealer immediately.
  • Children using the battery should have instructions clearly explained by a parent or guardian, who should periodically confirm proper usage.
  • Store the battery, charger, and product out of reach of small children.
  • If battery electrolyte contacts skin or clothing, wash thoroughly with clean water. Contact can cause skin disorders.
  • Review the user manual and precautions carefully before use and store them in a secure place for future reference.
  • Replacing the battery with an incorrect type carries an explosion risk. Use only the same or equivalent model specified by Aroot. Insulate the used battery terminals with tape and dispose of it according to local regulations.
  • Using the printed side of pre-printed paper may cause malfunction.
  • Avoid extremely low air pressure, which may result in an explosion or leakage of flammable liquid or gas.
