Assembly Instructions
This document provides step-by-step instructions for assembling the IKEA HAUGA glass-door cabinet. Please ensure you have all parts and tools before beginning.
Tools and Hardware Overview
The following tools are generally required:
- Screwdrivers (Phillips and flathead)
- Hammer
- Drill with drill bits (Ø 8 mm (5/16"), Ø 3 mm (1/8"))
Various hardware components are provided in numbered bags. Refer to the diagrams for specific quantities and part numbers for each step.

Assembly Steps
Step 1
Connect side panels to the base panel. Use 2x dowels (part 10040039/10051022) and 2x cam lock posts (part 10093081) for each connection. Ensure a [click sound] is heard upon insertion.
Step 2
Continue connecting side panels to the base panel. Use 2x dowels (part 10040039/10051022) and 2x cam lock posts (part 10093081) for each connection. Ensure a [click sound] is heard.
Step 3
Connect the remaining side panels. Use 4x dowels (part 10040039/10051022) and 4x cam lock posts (part 10093081) for this section. Ensure a [click sound] is heard.
Step 4
Attach the back support structure. Use 4x dowels (part 10040039/10051022) and 4x cam lock posts (part 10093081). Ensure a [click sound] is heard.
Step 5
Insert the back panels. Slide the back panels into the grooves from the top. Ensure they are fully seated.
Step 6
Secure the base structure. Use 8x screws (part 151708) to fasten the base components.
Step 7
Attach the drawer runners/support brackets. Use 8x cam lock posts (part 10093081) and 8x cam locks (part 10093082) to attach these components to the inside of the cabinet frame.
Step 8
Attach additional drawer runners/support brackets. Use 8x screws (part 151707) to fasten these components.
Step 9
Install the sliding door mechanism guides. Use 2x roller guides (part 150688) and associated screws/fasteners. The diagram shows a hand inserting the guide and securing it.
Step 10
Attach the lower shelf supports. Use 6x dowels (part 101345) to fix the horizontal shelf support bars.
Step 11
Complete the installation of lower shelf supports. Ensure they are correctly positioned and secured.
Step 12
Attach the upper shelf supports. Use 4x dowels (part 10040039/10051022) and 4x cam lock posts (part 10093081) to attach the upper support brackets.
Step 13
Attach the top panel. Use 3x dowels (part 101345) to align and secure the top panel. Do not use a hammer. The diagram shows a hand inserting dowels and pressing the top panel down.
Step 14
Install the door hinges. Use 2x screws (part 151708) and 2x screws (part 151707) to attach the hinge mechanisms to the cabinet frame.
Step 15
Attach the door hinge plates. Use 2x roller guides (part 150689) and associated screws/fasteners. The diagram shows a hand inserting the guide and securing it.
Step 16

Attach the cabinet back. Insert screws into the pre-drilled holes on the back of the cabinet to secure the back panel.

Step 19: Wall Mounting (Anti-Tip Device)
This step details how to attach the anti-tip device to secure the furniture to the wall. This is crucial for safety.
- General Guidance: The supplied screws and plugs can be used with most solid (A) and hollow (B) walls. For solid wood (C), use screws without plugs. If uncertain, seek professional advice.
- Wall Type A (Solid Wall): Drill a hole with Ø 8 mm (5/16"), insert plug, then screw in the bracket. Requires approx. 70 mm (2 3/4") screw length.
- Wall Type B (Hollow Wall): Drill a hole with Ø 8 mm (5/16"), insert plug, then screw in the bracket. Requires approx. 30 mm (1 1/4") screw length.
- Wall Type C (Solid Wood): Drill a hole with Ø 3 mm (1/8"), then screw in the bracket directly. Requires approx. 30 mm (1 1/4") screw length.

Step 20: Attach Anti-Tip Device to Cabinet
Secure the anti-tip bracket to the top rear of the cabinet. Use 2x screws (part 147968) and 2x brackets (part 133303/190586).
Step 21: Install Sliding Door Tracks
Attach the lower sliding door tracks. Use 2x track pieces (part 10047003/10046986/10074141). The diagram shows a hand pressing the track into place, following numbered steps 1-4.
Step 22: Install Sliding Door Tracks
Attach the upper sliding door tracks. Use 2x track pieces (part 10047009/10047010/10074143). The diagram shows a hand pressing the track into place, following numbered steps 1-4.
Step 23: Attach Shelf Supports
Install 24x shelf support pins (part 10051650/10051660) into the pre-drilled holes inside the cabinet at your desired shelf heights.
Step 24: Attach Hinge Plates
Attach 4x hinge plates (part 115339) to the inside of the cabinet frame using screws.
Step 25: Prepare Doors for Hinges
Attach 4x hinge mechanisms (part 192157/192165) to the doors. The diagram shows a hand inserting screws (part 192158/192166) into the hinge mechanism.
Step 26: Prepare Doors for Hinges
Attach 4x hinge mechanisms (part 150521/192164) to the doors. The diagram shows a hand inserting screws (part 192158/192166) into the hinge mechanism.
Step 27: Install Doors
Attach the doors to the cabinet by connecting the hinge mechanisms to the hinge plates. The diagram shows a hand engaging the hinge and securing it with a locking mechanism (?).
Step 28: Install Doors
