EZVIZ MINI O Series Quick Start Guide
Getting Started
This guide provides instructions for setting up and installing your EZVIZ MINI O Series camera.
Setup
Step 1: Powering Up
Connect the power cable to the camera and the power adapter, then plug the adapter into a wall socket as shown in the diagram below. The camera is ready for setup when the LED indicator blinks red and blue.

Step 2: Camera Setup
- Create a User Account:
Connect your mobile phone to a Wi-Fi network.
Download and install the EZVIZ app by searching for "EZVIZ" in the App Store or Google Play™.
Launch the app and register a new EZVIZ user account by following the setup wizard instructions. - Add Camera to EZVIZ:
Log in to the EZVIZ app.

Scan the QR code on the bottom panel of the camera.
Enter the confirmation code indicated on the bottom panel of the camera.
Select your time zone and daylight saving information, then tap "Finish" to complete the setup.

Step 3: Change Default Password
After adding the camera, you must change the device password to protect your video data. The password is used for image encryption. If encryption is enabled, you will need to enter the password to view live camera images and recordings.
To change the default password, navigate to the camera's settings screen.
Tap "Change Password" (Изменить пароль).

Tap "Edit" (Изменить).
Enter the original confirmation code indicated on the bottom panel of the camera.
Enter a new password. Use 6 to 12 alphanumeric characters.
Installation
Step 1: Install Metal Plate (Optional)
Choose a clean and flat surface and attach the metal plate in the desired location using the included foam stickers or screws (screws are not included in the package). The camera contains a magnet, so this step can be skipped if a metal surface is available.
Step 2: Mount Camera
Mount the camera with its magnetic base onto the metal plate or any metal surface (see diagram below).

Step 3: Complete Installation
Adjust the camera's tilt angle as needed.

MicroSD Card Installation
Insert the microSD card into the slot until it clicks.

MicroSD Card Initialization
- Check the microSD card status in the EZVIZ app by tapping "Storage Status" (Состояние запоминающего устройства) in the "Device Settings" (Настройки устройства) interface.
- If the microSD card status is displayed as "Uninitialized" (Не инициализирована), tap "Storage Status" to initialize it. The status will change to "Normal" (Нормальное). After this, the camera can record any events that trigger it (e.g., motion detection).
Troubleshooting
- Q: When adding the camera using the EZVIZ app, the message "The device is offline" or "The device is not registered" appears.
- A:
- Ensure the network the camera is connected to is functioning properly and that DHCP is enabled on your router.
- If you have changed network settings, press and hold the reset button for 10 seconds to reset the settings.
- Q: The mobile phone cannot receive alarm signals when the camera is offline.
- A:
- Ensure the EZVIZ app is running on your mobile phone.
- For Android phones, ensure the app is running in the background. For iOS phones, activate the notification function in Settings > Notification.
- Q: Can the camera be powered by USB devices or a portable power bank?
- A: For stable voltage, it is recommended to use the standard EZVIZ power adapter.
