Before Usage

How to add device?

  1. Login the EZVIZ account.
  2. Press the "+" sign to begin adding your device.
  3. Scan the QR code or manually input the serial number from the device sticker.
  4. Follow the wizard to add your device to your EZVIZ account.

Troubleshooting and Configuration

"The device has been added" message

An EZVIZ device can only be added to one account at a time for privacy. Delete it from the previous account before adding to a new one.

Wi-Fi password changes

Re-configure Wi-Fi via the EZVIZ mobile app: Reset the device, connect your phone to the new Wi-Fi, select the offline camera, go to settings, tap "Wi-Fi Configure", enter the new password, and follow prompts.

"Failed to push Wi-Fi credentials"

Use the "Generate a QR Code" option in the app. Input your Wi-Fi password, then scan the QR code with your camera lens (approx. 5 inches away). A blinking blue indicator signifies success. Click "Next" to connect to EZVIZ Cloud.

Putting device back online after Wi-Fi change

Press the RESET button for 5 seconds to reset your camera. Ensure the device is in ready or Wi-Fi configuration mode, then use the EZVIZ mobile app to reconnect. Navigate to the device from the home page, tap "Wi-Fi", and follow the prompts.

During Usage

How to reset the EZVIZ security camera?

Hold the reset button for 5-10 seconds. Wait for a prompt or observe indicator lights flashing blue (approx. 1-2 minutes).

How to deal with "Device is offline"?

How to Share EZVIZ Devices with Friends and Family?

Log into the EZVIZ mobile app, select the camera, tap the share icon, and enter the friend's EZVIZ registered email/phone number. The friend must have an EZVIZ account to view live or playback content.

How to set camera to 24/7 recording?

Download and log into the "EZVIZ Studio" PC application. Navigate to device advanced settings, then "Event-Schedule-Recording Schedule", and select the all-day recording template.

How to download recorded video clips?

Manually record during live view or playback mode by tapping the record icon. Recordings are saved to "my album".

Why real-time videos and playback stop automatically after 5 minutes?

When your mobile app or PC client is not on the same network as the camera, videos stream from EZVIZ VTDU servers, which time out every 5 minutes. A warning appears 6 seconds before timeout, requiring you to tap play to continue viewing.

In Hi-Def mode, viewing video consumes approximately 4MB per minute.

How to activate motion detection notification?

  1. Log into your EZVIZ account.
  2. Select the device for motion detection.
  3. Click the gear icon on the top right.
  4. Select "Alarm Notification" option.
  5. Enable "Alarm Notification".

Cannot receive alarm notification in app?
