The manufacturing date of the equipment can be determined from the serial number. The serial number contains information about the month and year of production.
Serial Number Format:
The serial number consists of 12 digits.
Manufacturing Year (P1):
The first two digits indicate the manufacturing year. For example:
- 2021-2030 are represented by letters A through J.
- 2031-2040 are represented by letters K through T.
- From 2041 onwards, the year designation restarts with 'A' and cycles every 20 years up to 'T'.
Manufacturing Month (P2):
The next two digits indicate the manufacturing month, represented by letters.
- 1=A, 2=B, 3=C, 4=D, 5=E, 6=F, 7=G, 8=H, 9=I, 10=J, 11=K, 12=L
