Installation Guide
Preparation:
Ensure the mounting location is suitable and free of obstructions. It is recommended to line the interior surfaces of the enclosure with sound-absorbing material for optimal performance.
Mounting Hole Dimensions:
- Cutout Hole Diameter: 283 mm (11-1/8" Dia.)
- Mounting Depth: 157 mm (6-1/8") for TS-W312S4/TS-W1212S4, 175 mm (6-7/8") for TS-W312D4/TS-W1212D4
- Overall Diameter: 327 mm (12-7/8")
Installation Steps:
- Cutout: Use the provided template or measure carefully to cut a circular hole of 283 mm (11-1/8") diameter in the mounting surface (e.g., speaker board or trunk panel).
- Mounting: Place the subwoofer into the cutout. Align the screw holes and secure the subwoofer firmly using the eight provided screws. Ensure a tight seal to prevent air leaks.
- Wiring: Connect the speaker wires from your amplifier to the subwoofer's terminals. For Dual Voice Coil (DVC) models (TS-W312D4/TS-W1212D4), refer to your amplifier's manual for correct wiring configurations to achieve either 2 Ω or 8 Ω impedance.
