Product Overview
The Aldes ISONE® 2.1 is a rectangular fire damper designed for fire safety in ventilation systems within tertiary buildings (ERP, IGH). It restores the fire resistance of partitions traversed by ventilation ducts.

Product Description:
These fire dampers are equipped with a thermal release fusible link, defaulting to 70°C. They can be controlled by a 24/48VCC fail-safe electromagnetic coil or a 24VCC/48VCC fail-secure coil. The reset motor operates on 24-48 VCC/VDC. The ISONE® 2.1 offers fire resistance up to 120 minutes across various standard partitions.
Available Sizes:
- ISONE® 2.1 Rectangular PM: Dimensions (LxH) range from 200x100 mm to 800x600 mm.
- ISONE® 2.1 Rectangular GM: Dimensions (LxH) start from L≥800, H≥600 mm, up to 1500x500 mm or 1000x1000 mm.
Applications: New construction, renovation, and tertiary premises.
Installation
Installation is designed for ease and flexibility:
- No sealing required for lightweight partitions, even with post-mounted frames.
- Recessed mounting is possible on: concrete walls/slabs, cellular concrete, plasterboard walls, and plasterboard panels (Type A for 1-hour, Type F for 2-hour fire rating).
- Remote mounting is supported using the EASYNSTAL kit for PROMAT / GEOSTAF systems.
- Mounting brackets facilitate positioning on lightweight partitions.
- The Easynstall kit simplifies the installation of rectangular dampers in Type A lightweight partitions (60-minute rating).
- An adapter piece is available for connection to oblong ducts.
- Compliance with EXAP EN 15882-2:2015, rules X.45 and X.46, for extended reservation dimensions.
- Ensure adherence to fire classification reports during installation.

- Certified and compliant with NF S 61937-5 and NF537.
- CE marked according to EN 15650: 1812-CPR-1837.
- Standard Class C tightness according to EN 1751.
- Achieves EI 120 S -500 Pa rating on concrete walls, cellular concrete, Type F plasterboard, and PROMAT/Geostaff remote mounting.

- Installation on Concrete Wall: Requires an opening of X+80 x Y+80 mm with specific clearances around the damper.
- Installation on Concrete Slab: Similar to wall installation, requiring an opening of X+80 x Y+80 mm with specified clearances.
- Installation on Plasterboard (120 min): Requires an opening of X+70 x Y+70 mm for 120-minute rated plasterboard partitions.
- Installation on Lightweight Partition (120 min): Requires an opening of X+70 x Y+70 mm for 120-minute rated lightweight partitions.
- Installation on Lightweight Partition (60 min with Kit Easynstall): Requires an opening of X+70 x Y+70 mm for 60-minute rated lightweight partitions, utilizing the Kit Easynstall. Minimum clearance of ≥98 mm is noted for some installations.
Principle of Operation Description
The ISONE® 2.1 fire damper's operation is based on the following components:
- 1: Installation Bracket: Secures the damper within the partition.
- 2: Fire Plate: A component integrated into the damper's structure.
- 3: ISONE® 2.1 PM Mechanism: The core operating and resetting mechanism.
- 4: Blade: The movable barrier within the damper. It has a thickness of 25mm for PM models and 50mm for GM models.
- 5: Connection Flange: A 30mm flange for duct connection.
