Information
The e-LITE Compact control panel functions as a room thermostat, complementing the heat pump. Parameters are adjusted by touching the selected symbol on the control panel screen.
Installation
The control panel is designed for wall mounting inside a room. It should be installed at a comfortable operating height, typically 1.5 meters above the floor. To minimize temperature measurement disturbances, avoid locations exposed to strong sunlight, areas with poor air circulation, proximity to heating equipment, and direct exposure from doors and windows (typically 0.2 meters from the edge of a door).
Follow these guidelines for installation:
- Disconnect the mounting frame (2) from the back of the control panel housing (3). The frame is secured with latches; use a flat screwdriver to detach it.
- Using a sharp tool, cut out the hole (4) for the terminal blocks.
- Connect the transmission cable, which links the room panel to the control unit, to the terminal blocks (5) as indicated on the plate. The cable can be recessed into the wall or run along its surface. If run on the surface, use a cable channel (6). Avoid routing the cable near devices that emit strong electromagnetic fields.
- Drill holes in the wall and use screws to fix the mounting frame in the chosen location, ensuring it is correctly positioned (7).
- Attach the control panel to the mounting frame using the latches.
- To place the control panel on a flat surface, use the dedicated stand (8).
Connections
The connection between the controller and the heat pump requires:
- A 2x1 shielded and twisted wire for Modbus communication, connected to the D+ and D- terminals.
- The 12Vdc power supply, which has red (12Vdc) and black (GND) wires at its output, connected to the e-LITE terminals (5-12V and GND).
Refrigerant Information
The panel displays information related to refrigerants R32 and R290, with specific connection details for different configurations (e.g., D+ → X-5.2, D- → X-5.1 for R32).
