R. STAHL 8530/1-MCB-STA103-C32-000-3 Line Protection Circuit Breaker
Article No. 272181
Product Overview
The R. STAHL 8530 series line protection circuit breakers offer good current limitation for short circuits and high switching capacity (10, 15, or 25 kA). They provide minimal load on lines and high selectivity to upstream fuses. These modular components are available in 1 to 4 pole versions with nominal currents from 0.5–63 A. The maximum installation capacity is 4.5 modular units (UP).
Key features include:
- Disconnecting function according to EN 60947-2
- Energy limitation class 3
- Easy replacement or extension of systems due to modular design
- Simple plug-in mounting on a DIN rail in Ex e enclosures
- Fixed magneto-thermal trip units
- Ergonomic lever for safe switching on and off
- Padlock protection (accessories) prevents re-operation during maintenance

Technical Drawings
Diagram 1: Tripping Characteristic Curve C
This diagram illustrates the tripping characteristic for the circuit breaker, showing the relationship between time (in seconds) and multiples of the rated current (I/In) for AC and DC currents. It indicates the limit from the cold state.
Diagram 2: Overall Dimensions
This diagram provides the overall dimensions of the circuit breaker in millimeters and inches. It shows the width (83 mm / 3.27 in), length (165 mm / 6.50 in), and mounting depth (138.3 mm / 5.44 in). It also indicates the unit dimensions for a 3-pole unit (8530/1; 3 division units).
