Wall Control Compatibility

Refer to the wall control compatibility chart included with this wall control.

Wall Control Installation

WARNING: It is recommended to wear safety glasses and gloves while performing these instructions. Always disconnect the unit before making any connections. Failure to disconnect power could result in electric shock or damage to the wall control or electronic module inside the unit.

CAUTION: Failure to comply with the following can cause erratic operation of the unit and/or the wall control:

  1. Unplug the ventilation unit from power source.
  2. Cut a 2 7/8" x 1 3/8" hole in a wall, at a convenient location for the wall control. Route the cable from the unit to this hole. (Note: Dimensions shown are for an installation without wall box.)
  3. Temporarily place the switch over the hole and mark both mounting screw hole positions. Remove the switch, drill both screw holes (3/16" Ø) in wall and insert wall anchors (included).
  4. Strip the end of the cable to access the 4 wires. Strip the end of each wire.
  5. Using a small blade screwdriver, connect each wire to its corresponding terminal on the back of the wall control: Yellow wire to "Y", Black wire to "B", Red wire to "R", and Green wire to "G".
  6. Mount the wall control to the wall.
  7. Plug the ventilation unit and test the wall control operation.

SMART Mode Operation Examples:

The chart below shows the operating modes called by SMART mode, according to the indoor humidity percentage and the outdoor temperature.

Chart Description: A graph showing different operating modes (TURBO, CONT, 20min/h, STANDBY) based on Indoor Humidity Level (%) on the Y-axis and Outdoor Temperature (°C) on the X-axis. The graph is divided into zones indicating which mode is active for different combinations of humidity and temperature.

Functions

Turbo Function

Dehumidistat Function

The Dehumidistat function has been created to manage indoor relative humidity excess. When the actual home relative humidity percentage (RH%) detected is over the set value, "drops" appears on screen and the control overrides the current mode, turning on the unit on high speed exchange until the indoor relative humidity % set is reached. The unit then returns to its previous operation setting. Refer below to find out how to set the indoor relative humidity %.
